On Sept 2nd, ***************************************************** pictures posted on ************ sites listing *************** woodwork, specifically Tobacco-colored ***************************** Tables, a 5-6 week completion time was agreed and a handful of specific details including dimensions, wood finish, stain colour and sheen were agreed on. $850 was requested as downpayment against the $1,250 asking price for a 'very similar to ***********' table as listed as his own in ****'s sales listing. After 8 weeks passed and only FB Messenger short responses saying "delay in materials but all under control" (though no specific dates nor apology given) , things started to seem odd. After 10 weeks (still no table nor correspondence to manage expectations) and calling from another number, vm messages were abruptly dismissed as not received and the by now all-too-familiar aggressively defensive character comes forward.A deadline was communicated and he says, no problem it can be done in a week...And after he replied to requests to see the table in-person with videos and no explanation, prevarication tactics were by now obvious and clear. On Sun 13th Nov, 2022 we agreed to meet him at his location. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a large car park near Roswell. A place he later said is surveilled by cameras, so he is protected (when dealing with presumably numerous deeply unsatisfied customers wanting their hefty deposits back) Why? C*** Product. An affront to decent craftsmen and carpenters and yes, he was told so. Predictably he responds talking about having 20 years martial arts experience-judging by his well-fed physique, I doubt it.**** refused to repay the deposit for his cheap Plyboard-topped table, whose satin stain finish was anything but (and still wet in places.) And so the journey for recompense and justice begins. First with the BBB, next with IC3.gov, the Police report, the ************ Fraud Teams, The Fed **********. & GA *****************************
