The company owned by Lee G****** is a rip-off company. We agreed to the building of a deck with roof and screen in for $5200. I paid for materials that was deducted from the 5200 and then it kept going from there. $113 for roofing material, 200 for something else. It was non-stop. Then, he built the structure, did not finish some of the finishing work, such as skirting, leveling the screen door, right side of deck was higher than left. Two days later, a neighbor came over and showed me where the support is not evening supporting the structure. The roof is leaking, the entire structure has to be taken apart and built correctly and up to code.
During this time, he has blocked all communication on phone and Facebook. He took advantage of an older person that is retired and needs her money to live on.
He is not licensed, and I don't believe insured. He showed me insurance paperwork but when I asked him about the missing date of expiration, he never responded and side-talked through it.
I hope no one else falls for this thief's words. I got suckered and it is an expensive way to go broke.

We agreed to do 5200 total and materials would be purchased by her throughout the process. Whenever agreed about any finishing work in the beginning. We only agreed with structural work. After building the porch, she complained about the looks of the ceiling joist so we added a whole ceiling for free. We then completed the job on the last day. She paid us money. We were supposed to come back to finish one piece of wood and re-level the door. She called me that night complaining about the looks of the flashing above the roof. But she talk to me with sarcasm which turned me off to continuing giving her free labor. We had already done more than what we agreed and delivered much more than what we promised. We built to a beautiful porch and you wanted to work us like a slave. You should be ashamed of yourself for telling people that I ripped you off. .

You are an absolute liar. Yeah, you tell me what the $200 was for. You are the one that went to pick up the materials. I'm in the process right now with ****'s to get a hold of the receipt as you never gave me the receipt so I could see. I did ask for the porch ceiling to be covered because it looked horrible with nails protruding through and pieces of wood just haphazardly placed on the ceiling. You never said it would be more and to me, it was a customer satisfaction for you to do the service since it looked like crap. I was not satisfied with it and I should have accepted it that way.
You said in a text msg on 10/10/24 apprx 7:35 am that, "Everything we will be done the proper way, and every subject you touched on will be completed". Well, it wasn't. I have had a licensed company come out to inspect it and none of it is up to code. It has to be torn down and rebuilt. Why did you leave the bottom support post free-floating? The ceiling leaks every time it rains. You said it wouldn't. You knew what you were going to do. You knew your workers do shoddy work by your overseeing them. You knew the deck on the right side was higher than the left. Remember, you told me to plant a shrub there and I wouldn't notice it.
You got upset because when my neighbor came over to look at it and he was point out the shoddy structure supports and I told you about it, you most likely got mad, probably like you have done others from your reviews, and that is when you blocked me from getting in touch with you. You did nothing for free for me. It was you to tell me how much it would cost for labor to put the boards on the ceiling to cover up shoddy work. It was not for me to ask you.
I was never sarcastic to you because that is not my nature. Did I tell you things I noticed or found out, yes, I did, and I do not apologize for that.
Let's talk about the flashing tape. What the licensed contractor said about that just appalled me that it was done like it was. I climbed a ladder to look at it and it was grossly put on the metal and my house.
I could keep going on about other things. You abused the fact that I am an older retired person, took the money and ran without finishing the job. Shall we talk about the insurance paperwork that you showed me and when I questioned you because it did not have an expiration date you ran around that question and never answered it. You are not insured. Again, lying. You cannot take $4000 from someone and think that it is okay.
And, stop being so dramatic "work us like a slave". You did rip me off and I will continue to get the word out there to protect others. Kinda like that one woman when I asked you about her bad review (same reason as mine) you told me "oh, you just can't please everyone". Really?!
