Contractor was hired to replace a roof. Service was provided and the contractor was paid in full. Materials supply company now wants payment for the roofing materials that were delivered at the contractor's request. The contractor did not pay the supplier for the materials. Now there is a mechanics lien on the property. This is fraud as the materials were to be supplied by the contractor.Initial Complaint

Jun 18, 2022 signed a contract and paid ~$4,500 for a roof from ************. Initially project had to be rescheduled due to weather but never got a new project date. After multiple attempts to contact them I got an email Jul 28, 2022 that ************ was permanently closed. Deposit is not being transferred to a new company. I hav tried getting in contact regarding a refund without answer. If they arent finishing projects, or transferring contracts I want my deposit back.Initial Complaint

Team ********************** installed my new roof and fixed my soffits. We have a 15 year warranty. I called them 2 weeks ago as the soffit repair was coming apart. I was told ***** would come out Monday. He never showed and I called again on Thursday - the message on their line states that they are permanently closed and have contracted with other companies to complete work and to email with questions. I emailed them and have not received a response. Also, we have called the owner multiple times with no response. We financed through the service company they provided and our full payment is due soon. I will not pay the full amount as the warranty will not be kept.Initial Complaint

I have a contract with teamroofing dated 11/06/2021 The roof was finished on 2/15/22 I will attach invoice.I found out the roof was installed incorrectly and I sent pictures to ***** on 3/11/22. Team roofing send out some people to check over the roof and they verified that the roof needed to be corrected.I received an email from ********************* that he was trying to talk to the supplier on July 18 2022. I was knowing as job 3661.I found out to day that TeamRoofing has been closed. I was just wanting my roof done correctly. I contracted with the company to replace my guttering on Monday, 18 July 2022.They requested, and I paid a deposit of $3,938.00 on Wednesday, 20 July 2022 to start the materials procurement and scheduling process.On Monday, 25 July 2022, the company sent me and 57 others the email shown below saying they had closed permanently. I responded to the email, but received no reply. Subsequently, today (27 July 2022) I was informed that the company was in the process of selling all its assets."Good Afternoon,We wanted to take a moment to share some unfortunate news. Date of Transaction: 10/20/2021 One year repair warranty on Gutters The gutters in the front and back of the house are not working properly and water is cascading over the gutters flooding the ground beneath.The warranty specifically says: Any issues relating to the workmanship will be addressed by ************.I called my salesman, several times and sent video of the water gushing over the gutters. I never heard from him. I then called ************ last week and was told by a phone operator that a ******************, who was the installer, would be back today to fix it up. I got a roof replacement done by ******************************** on May 5, 2022. I have a 10 year warranty with the company.On July 19, 2022, I noticed a ***** stain on the ceiling in an upstairs bedroom of my house. I contact ************ and they scheduled for someone to come out and look at the damaged on May 26, 2022 at 11am.When 11am came around and no one showed up, I contacted ************. However, on their voicemail, it stated that they are now permanently closed. They did say that a new company will be taken over but they did not state the new companys name.I will like help in resolving this issue as I had a brand new roof but water is somehow leaking into my home.Initial Complaint

Wrote a check to ************ on 7/01/2022 to have our roof replaced. The check was deposited into ************ account with ************ on 7/06/2022. Received a phone call from employee on 7/22/2022 stating they are no longer business and are not issuing any refunds. No service was performed at our house. We need to be refunded asap. Can you please assist?
