Horrible, Their report is not worth it. ***************** is asking for proof of value my car before and after this people didn't even provide that. Took my money and are not helping me get my money from the insurance company for the diminished value.

I called AppraisalEngine after a horrendously low appraisal from Travelers for what they deemed a total loss. In selling me on the services, they offered mediation and an appraisal and said they were there to assist with the different stages of the process. I was skeptical for just $225, but I went with it. I got a call that they were $4K higher than the insurance's quote. I found this surprising since this was the same number they used when describing their surfaces, but I said fine. I then did additional research and realized that their estimate was not reflective of the market value. I followed up to say I was disappointed, and that I would like a proper appraisal done. They insisted that I had "accepted the $4K higher number." I in turn insisted that the appraisal should not be coming from me but from them. They said they wouldn't change it. I said fine, but I would leave a review, that the work wasn't done. And, because the person didn't like that, he said he would report me to the ********** of ********* for "insurance fraud." This was because I was calling him out for not doing the work of an actual appraisal. With that, I said, don't worry; I will send a complaint to them right now. And I did.

************, we provided you with a quote that was $4,000 higher than the insurance cash value offer. Subsequently, you requested and paid for a report based on this quote. The appraisal we sent you exceeded our initial quote by $6,200 (a positive outcome). However, upon receiving the appraisal, your tone changed, and you began insisting on an appraisal that was $20,000 higher than the insurance company's offer, which was not feasible. When we declined your request for such a substantial amendment, you threatened to leave a negative review. It's important to emphasize that insurance claims involve legal considerations. Your desire for an excessively high and inflated appraisal, seemingly to dispute the total loss of the vehicle, was something we advised against, as it is not a viable approach.Regrettably, we must give you a 1-star rating as a customer. Throughout our interactions, your demeanor has been rude, inconsiderate, and at times, you've spoken to our team as if they were your subordinates. We stand by our professional standards and commitment to integrity, even in challenging situations like this one.
