08/19/2023 / 08:00 Went to Smith tire co. to get an oil change.Spoke to **** ( manager ) and ****** ( not knowing owner at this time ) As we prepared for the oil change ****** started a converstion about me complaining about the not putting oil in my van 4 months ago. ( which I put the in in my ************ He said that why he didn't like working on my vehicles.I asked **** to put some one esle on it. **** said that he can't because ****** is the owner of the company.I've been dealing with this company over 20 years because of the customer service, and it's always been ********************** the name never changed to ******** tire *** on the signs.I said that it was to early for this conversation. 4 months ago my van was in his shop, having fuel injectors and other parts replaced.Melvins attitude was shocking and uncalled for. So iwent to Tires plus and set up an appt. for the oil change.I have warranties on that van and i'm also hoping that the will honor them.I felt discriminated against by *************, becuse of his power, ownership , or problems elsewhere. Maybe if I was I had the right to complain about things that weren't completed. As being a business owner, he should be taking complaints and and not issuing them.I sets up all the repairs with **** ( office mgr. ) The job could and should have been completed, I was 1st in line. He had 4 more workers standing there, he really showed what kind of power he has to be disrespectful to custmers.thanks *****

I have owned Smith Tire company for 13 years. I see no difference between myself and my staff. We all have a job to do and a common goal in mind. It is a team effort and consider myself part of this great team. I am unsure as to why there would need to be a change from Smith Tire Co. to **************** We are a reputable business and customer satisfaction is our top priority. As, we would be nothing without our customers. We have maintained an A+ on the Better Business Bureau website. Unfortunately, On August 19th, 2023, ***************************************** arrived at Smith Tire Company for an oil change on his vehicle. The situation started to escalate with ****************************** raising his voice and becoming visibly angry/upset. To de-escalate the situation, I stated It is way too early for this conversation and situation to be happening, it is of everyones best interest if you leave the premises. His vehicle was returned to him with no oil change being done (No payment was collected as we collect payment at the end of a service). He left the shop and called moments later; **** answered the phone ****************************** asked for the owners name and number to which **** replied, ****** is the owner. ****************************** stated, He cant be the owner! I was confused as to why that would be. Maybe there can be some clarification on his end. The last invoice we have in our system for ****************************** is June 29th, 2022. If ****************************** has any additional invoices/receipts showing otherwise, we will be more than glad to honor any warranty that is within the allotted time frame. Our warranty policy is clearly stated on the invoice he receives from the shop. I will be more than happy to provide these invoices. As long as ****************************** is willing to arrive to the shop in a calm and respectful manner.
