    I hired Remodeling Expo to remodel my master bathroom. I signed a contract and gave ******************* (the owner) a deposit on 10/20/2023. I used their design services for about 4 hours with the designer in October 2023 and early November 2023. No other services or work was done. The owner, *******************, was rude and aggressive in his tone in his communication with me as we were going through the selection process. I decided to check and see if this company had any complaints and noticed that his company had a C rating with the BBB. I also noticed that he was not accredited by the BBB. On my contract, he has that he is accredited and a A rating with the BBB. I believe he falsely represented himself on my contract. I decided I did not want to pursue a master bathroom remodel with his company if he lied on his contract. I have gone back to his store 2 times and spoke with ******************* and wrote a few emails asking for my deposit back minus $1000 for the design services. No other services were rendered regarding my bathroom. He says that my contract is non-cancelable. However, I explained to him that the contract has misinformation on it. On January 7th he agreed to refund my money minus the materials he ordered. However, he won't tell me what materials were ordered (and I never gave my permission to order any materials). At this point, he has not given me a refund yet. He just ignores my emails. I have been asking for a refund since November 17th 2023. It also should be noted that his company has changed names a few times. It has been Atlanta Renovation Company, Remodeling Expo, and *************************.
