    Issues from Hospital Stay (11/811/12)Fri - 11/08/2024 No food / water after midnight, may be doing Endoscopy tomorrow 8pm 4 hours before midnight Denied all food and water Sat - 11/09/2024 8am No Endoscopy scheduled, will do Endoscopy on Monday 8am 12 hours without food / water 8am Clear liquid diet If not doing Endoscopy until Monday, then why not regular diet I had to insist on regular diet 2pm 20 hours with only 1 apple juice and 1 Jello.2pm received regular diet Sun - 11/10/2024 No food or water after midnight because Endoscopy scheduled for early Monday morning per Gastroenterologist Mon 11/11/2024 Endoscopy scheduled for 1pm (12 hours without food / water)Gastroenterologist Doctor lied about doing the Endoscopy early morning 2:30pm Taken for Endoscopy Between 2:30pm to 5:30pm:Had to wait for Endoscopy equipment to be sterilized Anesthesiology Doctor had to leave, when new doctor arrived, he had to find an Anesthesiology Tech Gastroenterologist Doctor could not be found Display screen problem, had to wait for IT Tech Returned to room at 7:00pm, 19 hours without food / water Tue 11/12/2024 8am Given Clear liquid diet I had to escalate to Nurse, Charge Nurse and Assistant Manager 10am Received regular diet 11am Doctor signed discharge, contacted transport to take me to discharge1pm Still waiting on transport The Charge Nurse had to do the discharge The Charge Nurse had to get a wheel chair and take me to exit Diagnosed with anemia and being denied food, which is needed to build red blood cells. This was caused by poor communication and management by WellStar Poor communication from Doctors, Doctors not updating information Nurses only follow orders in the WellStar system, they can't escalate issues; which indicates that there is no team coordination between Doctors, Nurses, etc WellStar management should be ashamed of the customer service and care they are providing
