On July 1st 2024 around 4 o’clock I went to retrieve my vehicle from Gordon’s Wrecker Service. After I paid them the balance one of their employees brought my car to the front of the building and handed me my car keys, when I looked at my car keys it was severely damaged. I went back inside the office and made them aware that my key is severely damaged, they proceeded to look at the pictures that they have on file for my vehicle but said they couldn’t find any pictures of key fob. One of the three female employees that were in the office calls the male employee that towed my vehicle, when he gets in the office I asked him what happened to the key Fob? was it an accident? He proceeded to say I’m accusing him and want to argue after I clearly stated several times that I’m not arguing nor do I want to argue I just want to know what happened to my property. One of the women in the office start being very rude and basically told me my key wouldn’t be damaged if I didn’t get my car towed, which made me feel like I was targeted and this was done on purpose, I didn’t even get an apology, and their office has a very foul odor and theirs ants on the floor .

    To whom it may concern:

Thank you for reaching out regarding Ms. ****** concerns.  Ms. ***** made it noticeably clear that she was upset before leaving our establishment on July 1, 2024. Unfortunately, Ms. ****** situation is one that was brought on by her own actions. Ms. ***** has failed to explain that her vehicle was impounded by the local Savannah Police Department for not having vehicle insurance on June 10, 2024. Ms. ***** came to our office on June 12, 2024, to retrieve belongings from her vehicle. She was notified that she had to provide a police release from the police department before any items could be released from the vehicle. The registration of the vehicle also showed that the vehicle was not registered to her. Ms. ***** became highly agitated, loud and rude. I made every attempt to explain why I could not release personal belongings to someone without knowing if they belonged to her. Ms. ***** was given instructions on what was needed for the release of any belongings and/or the vehicle.

Ms. ***** returned to our office a few days later, with the proper police release but it was released to someone by the name of ***** ****. Ms. ***** asked if we would release her belongings if she could provide the vehicle registration that had her name on it.  I told her, "Yes" and she returned on the same day with valid registration. Ms. ***** obtained her belongings but had no interest in obtaining the vehicle at that time.

22 days later, July 1, 2024, Ms. ***** returned to pay the towing and storage fees and to retrieve her vehicle. Once the vehicle was brought around for her, she immediately demanded to speak with the tow driver and accused him of breaking her key fob.  She was very rude and accusing.  I explained to her that the key fobs (there were two fobs on the same key ring as in her photos) were in the same condition as they were on the day that her vehicle was impounded.  The key was in working order and as I pointed out to Ms. Regis, the fob was not broken but is worn. Our company did not damage any of Ms. ****** property. Ms. ***** is clearly upset because her vehicle was towed, which is tied to actions of her own. It is unfortunate that Ms. ***** is upset but Gordon's Wrecker Service will not take responsibility for any of her outrageous claims.

I have attached documents showing the police impound form and the registered owner of the vehicle which was provided from the Savannah Police Department.

    Best Regards,

    **** ******, CFO

Three weeks ago my car was towed after being parked for two days at a apartment complex that my family lives and i had just purchased the from my ex. The car was originally mine but since we split up he wanted it out of his name. So the car was parked while the tags were switched over from his name/to mine. I went to my car to get the original bill of sale and the car was gone.. had been towed!!! Called around and found out it was at *******s . It somehow managed to already have a extremely high total. I asked to work something out with them regardless if I feel I did nothing wrong. Car is legal, car was just purchased from my ex, car has insurance. Explaining to them I’ll work off the total, I’m a single mom and agreed to pay plan anything it takes to keep a car. No help , just rude service!! TSo then having no ride, I wait for a friend to come in town so I can atleast keep my children school stuff, my credit card, my deceased fathers belongings. I was told NO!!!” it’s been 30 days” this stuff has no value but to me and my kids!!! …businesses like this that are only have a $ and have no heart when it comes to people or their personal life. Car was illegally towed and not one person has cared or tried to work with me.
