    A2Z- I wanted to reach out to you all and see if anyone knows what is going on with the school.They have been unresponsive in my efforts to schedule private lessons as well as obtain my son's certificate of completion for the course.Has anyone been able to get through or have any insight as to how to get the certificate? At this rate, I fear my son will have to take the class again. He completed the class last July 2023 *** I've been calling since Dec. I got them.on the phone *** they said they were moving. I.paid $400 and this is unprofessional.

    I signed my ** year old daughter up with the A2Z driving school this past July 2023, so as to have her complete 30 hours of classroom driver’s education, and 6 hours of driving lessons. She completed the classroom education and received one (2 hour) driving lesson. We were required to pre-pay 395$ for the entire program. Even though the 2nd driving lesson was scheduled (January 2024), the instructor cancelled it the week prior and said the school was moving locations and until that process was complete, nothing could be done in the interim. Despite multiple efforts to get information from the owner, the only answer given was “We’re still waiting to get our license from ***.” It is now the end of February and we need to know what the status is of this business, since they have our money and paperwork to document our daughter’s drivers Ed completion.

    To the parents and students who purchased a class from AA2Z, Defensive Driving and DUI Academy Inc. during the summer of 2023 we sincerely apologize for the disruption of your class in the move to the new location. We were temporarily closed by *** until they inspect the new location which has taken a lot longer than we anticipated. As the owner of the school during the closure all records are in the hands of *** and we are not able to provide anyone with any certificates at this time. We have worked diligently with our analyst with *** to get certificates to the students who have been caught in the move. There were over 50 students so it has and is taking some time for everyone who is asking for their certificates to receive them from ***, but they are working to get those certificates to the students. I have replied by text and email, but because there are so many students it may be taking a while for me to circle back around to you if I have already corresponded to you before. I have talked with several Parents over and over again and don’t mind if any of them would like to continue to contact me until this process is completed if I have inadvertently missed your text or email I sincerely apologize . Please understand we must wait on *** for the re-opening and there is nothing that I can do personally to get those certificates to students other than provide *** with the information and they work through the process of getting the certificate out to me and then I forward those certificates to the parents. I can’t apologize enough for everything that has happened in the past three months but again I can’t operate until *** provides me with services, and I apologize that your kids lessons were interrupted. *** was here on March 4, 2024 to inspect the new location which the analyst gave us a great report. She must submit her report to management for approval, and then we will know the date in which we can open and begin to provide services again, I do understand that this has been upsetting for parents and students and it has also been overwhelming and upsetting for me as well. AA2Z has been in business for five years and we have provided exceptional service to our parents and students. We hate that this has happened and we also know that there have been things that have been said to parents that has been untruthful and has placed the school in the negative light. We appreciate all the support and understanding we have received during this time, and we pray that you will continue to share and spread the good services that AAZ has provided to you and maybe your families over the past five years that we have been in business. We pride ourselves on excellent education and service with the best qualified instructors in this area. As this has been a terrible experience for us all we are waiting and ready to reopen our doors and continue to provide the best quality service as we have in the past and again we certainly apologize to everyone this has affected in the process. Again, you may contact me at ************ for all concerns and questions as I have tried diligently to respond to every parent who has reached out to AA2Z over the past three months. Please again accept this heartfelt apology. We will be open and operational very soon and look forward to servicing you again in this area with the same great service we have provided in the past and we pray for your support.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1) I contacted the *** and they assured me that they have NO INVOLVEMENT with private driving schools and are NOT part of this process in any way. They do not provide certificates; this is entirely in the hands of A2Z. 

    2) Licenses are time-dependent. The longer customers are delayed, the longer it will take to receive the license. This is unacceptable.

    3) A2Z has money that was PRE-PAID by its customers (that is its policy), and in our case includes payment for private driving lessons that have not been scheduled. This money  should be returned and refunded.
