  Everyone from the office staff to the technicians are very easy to deal with. They are always looking out for our needs. I recommend Old Coast to anyone who is looking for a great experience and a trustworthy company.

  I had repairs done on my system and everyone was very friendly to work with. While doing the repairs they recommended a maintenance agreement for my 8 year system to get it clean so that it would operate more efficiently and save on my electric bill. This impressed me because most companies would want to just get the job done, collect the money and leave. The technician took his time to explain to me the benefits of a clean system, which shows me that they care about their customers. Theyre a great company to work with and reasonable prices. I highly recommend them to anyone who is needing AC repairs.

  Almost $800 to pluck off a Nest thermostat and snap on a plain simple thermostat in its place. Thats it! Obscenely expensive.

  *******************, we were surprised to see this review from you. You were given up front pricing by our office before we ever sent a technician, and you picked out an option (all of which is recorded in our phone call logs). There was no pressure, we hadn't even been to your home previously, and you were given options that you picked from. You initially called our office, told us your issues, and stated that you wanted a new simpler thermostat. Our office sent you quotes on different options to replace your thermostat by e-mail, you called in to discuss further, verified what the price would be, agreed to the pricing, and scheduled for us to come out. A technician went to your home, collected diagnostic readings, and then installed a new, different type of thermostat for you. Once completed, you told the technician that you were satisfied with everything. Now, weeks later, we see this review. If you weren't satisfied with the pricing given to you by our office, you should have called other companies. You were quoted for a diagnostic fee ($135) and to install a new programmable digital thermostat ($598.91), which you approved before a van ever left our office. The thermostat was also not a simple "snap on" as you stated, it was a completely different thermostat that had to have a different base plate and be rewired and programmed (the technicians were on site from 1:45-3:05). Again, you were given options and pricing before anyone was ever dispatched to your home and this is the first instance that we have heard that you weren't happy.   Purchased new heating and cooling system from them, a few months after the system made strange noises. The tech told me the fan and motor were out of balance and a new motor and fan would have to be ordered, it was under warranty so no charge. The tech told me it took an hour and a half to install. I was presented with a bill for labor that was over $1,100.

  ******************** system is 8 years old, not a few months. The parts had to be ordered and a quote was given upfront for the job. **************** approved said quote while we waited for the parts to ship in. After the parts were installed, **************** stated that the work was done too quickly and to adjust the price. After speaking with him and reviewing, we agreed to a customer satisfaction discount. The balance has yet to be paid 3 weeks later and **************** has decided to leave these untrue, defaming comments on multiple sites. This will result in litigation and BBB can also be held liable for allowing these statements to stay on their site under Georgia code.

  We've had three of our four heat pump units replaced by Old Coast over the past 8 years. We have twice a year maintenance service performed on all units, as well as repairs as necessary. They have been consistently good with service and have very professional employees. They are prompt and do show up when they say they will, even texting to let you know they're on their way. You do pay a diagnostic charge when something breaks and they come out for a service call. So far all repairs have fixed the problems the first time so it's probably well worth it so they don't need to come back a second time! I can recommend them because they do perform good installation and prompt professional service consistently.
