07/21/2023 I had Savannah Auto Keys LLC come out to program a new car key to my car. When the guy programmed the new key, he must’ve didn’t know how to with my type of car because he cause my computer system to glitch. My car was new, didn’t even have it a full 2 months before he caused it to have issues. He was the only mechanic to work on my car. He caused my air to stop working, turn signals didn’t work, windows wouldn’t come down, dash didn’t work, etc. When it came time to fix it, all he wanted to do was argue and claim it couldn’t possibly have been him. He blamed the sun, saying it could’ve fried something under my hood, he blamed the locksmith who only came to unlock my door, the he claimed it could be something else. He isn’t taking accountability at all. After arguing, he refused to fix what he messed up! I took my car to the dealership and they told me he caused my car to have 14 active codes, when there should be none. He also claimed he didn’t know much about fuse boxes so he wanted someone else to take a look. I paid him $250 USD and would prefer a full refund. His professionalism also is poor, he continued to make it seem as if I was a liar and as if I was the problem. I had to tell him to lower his voice while talking to me. Anytime I said something, he would sigh and act as if he had an attitude. He even asked me if I had proof of my car working before he touched it, mind you it was a new car. The car worked perfectly fine since the date of purchase (05/24/2023). On 07/21/2023, the day he programmed a new key, I told him all of the problems my car was experiencing right after he left…his response was to let it cool off in the garage. That’s when I knew he didn’t know much about cars. My car sits outside everyday and it ran perfectly fine. All the cars that sit outside, even at dealerships, run perfectly fine too. So my car sitting in the sun had nothing to do with the issues it was having. I hope my car will be the last car he damages!

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Some of the things he explained are not true.
Yes, the car was new to me meaning it came from the dealership where they made sure everything was up to par.
the list of 14 active codes came from the north side dealership. He only wants to say it’s not credible because he doesn’t work for that specific location.
Attached is the list from the north side dealership. He looked at the paper as well so I don’t know why he’s acting like it’s not credible.
The locksmith didn’t do anything wrong and I even called them to verify what they did.
Since your friend was listening to our conversation so hard, did he hear when I had to tell you to lower your voice when talking to me?
I didn’t snap on him about the heat. I politely told him I was going to stand there and watch what he do because last time he worked on my car and I wasn’t watching , he caused problems. Yes I told him not to worry about my son, & yes I told him he could not talk to my father on the phone. He wanted to focus on everything except the car. Also his friend didn’t tell me to leave. I told him to close my fuse box and my hood because all he wanted to do was argue and gaslight me.
Also I never received the message of him saying he would pay for the damages, rentals, and the $1000. He responded to a review I left from the virtual receipt that was sent to my phone after paying.  He had my number, why not send that message to my number when I’m texting you and telling you the problems of my car.
Word of mouth is his main thing so as long as I got the word out to as many people as possible, that’s fine by me. And also you claimed the key was $250, then after I complained you threw in my face that it costed more….how did it cost more? I told you I didn’t have *** so you’re statements aren’t all true.
The solution wouldn’t be to just “delete the codes” and the dealership wasn’t going to fix it for free so why would they just “delete codes”

the dealership would have to go undo what you did wrong. The dealership I got the car from, the dealership I took the car too, both said the problem started at whoever did my keys.

Just because you’ve done this almost 20 years doesn’t mean you can’t make a mistake. My car is proof that you don’t know everything you’re doing.

All I can say is I will be word of mouth for your business. Giving everyone honest reviews about the service I received from Savannah auto keys llc.

    Regards,
