    On August 1, 2023, Saxon Appliance was contacted by ***************** to service a warranty request at my home. The date of service was scheduled for August 22 and confirmed via email. On August 21, I made a call to Saxon to confirm the time. I was informed that the service was canceled (no initial explanation). I stated that I was not notified about the cancelation. After asking the reason , I was told that it was because of "bad debt". After this unexpected response, I asked the lady ( I did not get her name), what that meant, She replied that the refrigerator in my home was serviced in 2006 and they did not receive $130.00 for parts. I explained that I was not aware and did not recall this service or receiving any written notification. I explained that the appliance was purchased new in **** and should have been under our new home warranty. I inquired whether the charge could have been sent to the home warranty company. She stated that they don't bill third party. I was shocked to get this "bad debt" information 17 years later. I have always had an impeccable credit score. Also disappointed that they would not service the appliances.
