IN FEBRUARY OF THIS MONTH I HAD A ACCIDENT AND NO INSURANCE, THE BIKE WAS IMPOUNDED. I WENT RETRIEVE THE BACK WITH THE NEEDED FUNDS OF$*** AND WAS TOLD THE VIN # DIDNT MATCHED BECAUSE THE VIN NUMBER WAS IN ERROR
BY BOTH CRIBBS AND THE SAVANNAH POLICE DEPARTMENT. I HAVE LOST THE BIKE BECAUSE GETTING IT OUT IS MORE THAN ITS WORTH

Mr. ******* original Bill of Sale (from ******* ** ***** including the customer's signature that shows that he received the Certificate of the Origin for the scooter on ******* ** ***** Thus he had all the original documentation to complete his registration but according to this complain he never did. More over, he stopped by and requested a duplicate of his Bill of Sale and to order his lost Certificate of the Origin back in February **** and was rude as he did not want to pay a small fee for the reprint of his lost documents.  The distributor charge for any reprint and mailing fees. We provided the copy of his Bill of Sale at no charge and reordered another Certificate of the Origin same day. The owner decided to cover the fee as we always take care of our customers.  When we received the duplicate via mail he had been called to pick it up and he never showed back in February **24. We have prove of all the documents, please see the attachment.
It is interesting to say that both the dealer and the police are wrong but the customer had all this time to figure his situation.

Thank you for your time. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.

Please note that we value all our customers and always try to assist/help in any way we can.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:The vin #mounted on the vehicle was checked by Savannah police. It was to an older vehicle manufactured years ago. This is why CRIBBS would never give me the origin # or the ownership document back when I went to D.M.V. to register the bike . They are hiding why they did this. Check with Savannah Police. It's true Savannah police Error was documenting the vin incorrectly...they put on  case #********* vin#.   HO***************. And wouldn't release it because the insurance vin# was different . However the vin# mounted on the bike is ***************** which according to the police is the vin to a different bike . Model and year

    Regards,

Mr. *****, there is no such thing as "MOUNTED VIN".  All Vin numbers recorded by manufactures on vin tag and each bike has a vin on the metal frame. If you had issues with the police department recording it wrong on the police report, you need to address the issue to them. There is nothing wrong with the bike and all documentation was provided to you same day. The vin number matches the frame of the bike and the Certificate of the Origin. Sorry that you had to experience the accident. Have a good day!
