      Moved from Bluffton SC to Ponte Vedra Fl. Move estimate was inflated. Told the binding agreement was put in place by the Federal Gov to protect consumers. Issue is the estimate tool and quote provided were grossly off. I'm not certain of what is considered an acceptable margin of error but, estimating we needed 2 trucks when the contents fit in 1 and the estimated weight of 10k pounds was between 2 & 3 pounds heavier than the trucks weight receipt, which the company would not share a copy of for my records, ~7k pounds. When I inquired about a refund I was told no, we signed a binding agreement regardless of any differences in actual weight and the estimate provided.

      and signed a Binding estimate/contract.  His items were moved via
      interstate transport under the interstate authority of National Van Lines. His
      contract was based on a binding weight of 10,000 lbs. This estimated weight was
      determined based on an in home pre-move survey.

      Please see the attached binding estimate contract signed by *** ******o. No additional agreements or adjustments were ever discussed. He was only charged the exact amount that he agreed upon prior to any services being rendered and we followed every regulation prescribed by The Federal Motor Carrier Administration.
