I worked on behalf of my parents, **** *** **** ********** * in their mid 70's) to help them move from Savannah, GA to ********* **. We used **** and 3rd party moving companies to pack and load the containers in Savannah and to unload in ********* **. The pack and load with WP AND L occurred on March 28, 29, and 30th, 2025 at ** ******** ***** *** *., Savannah, GA ****** Let me note, that these gentlemen were very kind and nice and more than accommodating when we had to order two additional ****, which meant more additional time and labor on their part. It also meant additional money for their company. Although the work was not complete on the final day, March 30, both workers left after two hours. Once in TN and upon arriving and beginning to unload the ****, on April 8th, it was discovered that not only did the packers in GA not use ANY of the blankets/pads made available to wrap the furniture, they just tossed items onto the container in a haphazard way. The China cabinet was wrapped in the owners king size bed mattress pad that is now ruined because the glass broke in the china cabinet. She gave them a package of packing blankets that were never opened. A ********* fish was just placed between two pillows, not secured at all. This was a fish caught by my grandfather, who is now no longer with us. We will never get that back and it’s ruined. A 53 yr old Korean lamp shade is destroyed. It Was clearly labeled “Fragile.” Misc items not packed and protected. Heavy Piece of furniture placed on top of a PLASTIC piece Most furniture NOT wrapped, when it clearly states in paperwork that we should have all packing material, including at least ONE blanket for each piece of furniture. SLEEP NUMBER BED JUST TOSSED IN! May need to be replaced! All furniture scratched Broken furniture Moving company in TN have been taking their own pics and will attest to the damage done due to pour packing and loading and it having NOTHING to do with the transport.
