I took my vehicle to Southern Motors Savannah with an oil leak and was told to have a diagnostic check to find the source. The head technician explained the source of the oil leak and I gave the okay to do the repairs. They didn't make the necessary repair and the leak persisted. The management refused to take responsibility, even though they diagnosed the issue. Now they refuse to do the repair that they were paid to do. I paid over $1,800 for service that was not performed. (The definition of this is despicable.) This dealership has not refunded my money and they refused to do the work that was promised. They are unreliable and untrustworthy. Southern Motors Savannah has lost their integrity and can't be relied on for competent, dependable service.

I took my Honda Odyssey to Southern Motors Honda because my air conditioner wasnt working. Supposedly they checked over the system and added Freon. This cost $331.85. I also had my oil and filter changed and tires rotated. The lug nuts were stuck on 3 wheels and I was charged $329 to have them removed and replaced. They also found $4099 worth of repairs they said needed to be done including a $1600 charge to replace the **** control module which they said was the reason my **** wasnt working.I replaced the module myself in about 20 minutes for less than $100 and my **** still didnt work. I took my van to my mechanic in **********, **. Within 10 minutes, the real problem was diagnosed - a broken **** condenser coil. He replaced it and voila! My air conditioner started working. He searched for the other issues the Honda mechanic said I needed fixed but found nothing. Is this the status quo for this service department? To find problems that dont exist and run the bill up into the thousands for unsuspecting customers?

I apologize if we miss diagnosed your vehicle. We have been in business for 95 years and definitely do not just run up bills. Technicians are human and do make mistakes at times. If we would have made a repair that did not fix the issue we would have adjusted the bill and corrected the issue.

I am glad that your van is now fixed and again apologize if we were not able to take care of you concern.

If you need anything in the future or would like to discuss this is more detail please feel free to give me a call at ************.

      Thank you,

      *******************, GM

Took a ************** for a broken window regulator. They said they HAD to do a diagnostic even though we already knew what was wrong and only took it there for convenience. We NEVER approved anything be done to the window. When we came back, the window was supported by painters tape wrapped around the window frame. We didn't have the time to fix it ourselves so we took it to *********** Honda who reported to us that the actual cable had been cut, hence why the window refused to stay up. We NEVER approved them to slice the regulator cable and HH Honda couldn't think of a reason to do it, especially since the window was already in the UP position. All we could imagine is that they sliced it so the window would not be physically able to support itself and we would be forced to fix it by them.
