      Mr. ****** came soliciting in our neighborhood Window Replacements. He was very insistent in his sales pitch and we finally thought of giving him an opportunity to build his business as he mentioned he was starting out. As a start up he doesn't even have a website, let alone customer reviews. The project we have was not an easy one and at first he showed up with a very competent support partner. We decided to just replace the windows as the entire project cost us too much, he quoted 33k. Mr. ****** was always reachable, called back, he was responsive. As we got further into the Window Replacement, we started to notice their lack of professionalism. At this point we started to sense that we were dealing with people who were not professional and had very little to no experience with Window Replacements. They were insistent of collecting a deposit which we gave them in form of a check, with much hesitation but always wanting to believe in them. The deposit was $7,650. When we returned from oversees they came by again with other people. That is when we knew this was a big mistake, that they were not knowing what they were doing and always showing up with different people, having to measure and re-measure. We decided to cancel and we spoke to Mr. ****** about our decision. He said it was OK and that he would reimburse us the deposit. From that phone call on he was impossible to reach, blocked our telephone number and simply ignored our calls. When we looked him up, the first thing that comes up are 2 police mug shots. He is a criminal with a police record and a slew of counts, out on a $60k bond. Our experience is a very bitter and disappointing one with this individual posing as a Window Replacement professional. We are still hoping to recuperate our deposit of $7,650. He had not even ordered anything, we don't have anything in writing DATED and signed that we would not get our deposit back. He actually said he would send it back and simply disappeared with our money.
