    I contacted with ****** **** of Savannah Upholstery & Design on March 22, 2023 to reupholster my living room sofa(3 years old). She came to my house on the 22nd. I looked over the fabric, made my selection and gave her a check which she cashed the same day. She said the process takes 4 weeks. She didn’t pick up my sofa until Saturday, April 8th with repeated phone calls from me. At the pickup she said it would take 6 weeks. She never communicated to me regarding her progress or when I could expect to get my sofa back. I called her May 16, 2023, she said she went on vacation for 2 weeks and that it was taking longer than expected. I emailed and text her today, June 6, 2023 no response. At this point I’m not sure she has started to work on my sofa since she doesn’t update me, her client.

    After receiving a phone call and text from Ms ***** on 3/16/23 a home visit was scheduled for 3/21. Please see the timeline below.

    3/21 - To clients home to evaluate sofa and choose fabric. Informed client the process would take 2-3 months. On agreement, client paid for fabric and sofa pickup.

    3/22 - Order placed for fabric.

    3/25 - Original pickup scheduled today. Fabric has not arrived.

    3/31 - Fabric has not arrived, was told it was on backorder. 

    4/1 - Notified client that fabric was on backorder, would let her know when it comes in. Suggested we wait to pick up sofa until fabric arrived, client agreed.

    4/7 - Fabric delivered. Scheduled sofa pick up for 4/8.

    4/8 - Sofa picked up.

    5/15 - Update given to client.

    6/6 -  Client showed up, she stated I had not responded to her email. Apology given and asked that she contact me via phone or text, as this was the easiest way to reach me. Informed client that sofa would be ready in about 1 1/2 weeks, and that I would give her a call when ready to schedule delivery.

    6/7 - Received threatening text from client. 

    6/18 - Texted client to schedule delivery on 6/19 at 5pm.

    6/19 - Due to inclimate weather notified client of need to reschedule delivery. Client arrived with police. On speaking with police it was agreed that client would pickup sofa on 6/20 at 6pm.

    6/20 - Sofa picked up with police escort. Balance paid in full.
