    Mr ******** agreed to reupholster a chair for me in March 2022. He picked up my chair around the 3rd of March and requested a 300.00 (50%) deposit which I paid via check that he cashed. He stated it would take a couple weeks for the chair to be finished. On the 21st, after I texted him, he said he was seeing on the skirt and he would deliver it the following week. Then he broke his hand, had an unexpected death in the family, went to rehab and made every excuse possible before I asked him to just bring the chair in whatever state it was in. I got it back in September of 2022. Absolutely no work had been done to it. He lied about the work being near completion. He didn’t return my deposit despite multiple requests. I would like my 300.00 back. All of this is documented via text messages. I was extremely kind and patient throughout this process. My husband started helping me at the end and also has texts with ******. His business address has changed, and likely his phone number. His current phone number is +* ***** ******** and he lives on ***** ******* ** where he does his work. Can you help me? Thank you, ***** ******
