    On 12/20/2023 Atlanta Gate Co came to install a fence for my next door neighbor. They had no survey and based their installation on a wooden stake the builder had left in the ground. While they were marking fence post locations I told them to make sure no part of the fence, concrete, etc encroached on my property.While digging for the post closest to the street they purposefully removed my corner survey marker and placed their last post where the corner marker used to be. They admitted to removing the corner marker and said they do it all the time. They offered to move the post back a few inches and put the corner marker back where it was, to their best recollection. I said ********* the post but they must hire a surveyor to properly replace the corner marker. They said I could take it up with their boss whom I believe to be *********************, the company owner. They called their boss and told him what happened but he refused to have my corner marker properly replaced. They did not move the post either. They also indicated that it is likely some of their post holes and concrete are over the line and encroaching on my property. Unfortunately, because they removed my corner marker it is now impossible to accurately determine the property line and fence encroachment without hiring a surveyor.On 12/22/2023 I contacted the company via the only e-mail address on their website and have received no response.I would like Atlanta Gate Co to have my corner marker accurately replaced by a licensed surveyor (preferably Ga Land Surveying whom we hired to have the corner markers placed initially) and make sure none of their fence construction (even the concrete) encroaches on my property.
