    We are seeking an insurance payout from our credit card because of a trip that was canceled in November of 2021. We receive next to know information from the payment provider, Card Benefit Services and are told different pieces of info each time I call. My claim has still not been paid and is for $20,000. They have had all requested information since January 2022. I now am being told that new information is need, almost 10 months later. I have provided that information and now being told it has to be presented different. I am getting the run around. I only have updates because I keep calling them every few weeks and waiting on hold for sometimes hours at a time.

    I hold a credit card from *********** on March 12 2022, I had a trip delay with my wife caused by American Airlines, they did not have enough pilots and left over ********************** the ************* for 2 days without our luggage because it was taken back by AA, some people, even more, depending on the connection. Because my wife and I had our kids at home, we needed to come back as soon as possible, we decided to find another flight which we did but in *******, **, we rented a car, had to buy carryons and some clothing.I placed a benefit claim to "card benefits services" on March 18th, they never communicated with me via phone or email, I had to keep on calling them for multiple times to get an update, every time I called there was excuse after excuse on why the claim was incomplete, I provided all the information needed even the information from AA explaining that this issue was caused by a lack of pilots. After dealing for almost 5 months with card services, they just suddenly sent an email saying that they will not pay the claim because it does not mee the criteria of the benefit.This company is a third party, that oursources all the call center reps and in my opinion acts in bad faith, making the customers claim as difficult as possible so the client gets desperate or gives up and accepts the fact that you will never get reimbursed for anything. Chase bank and others work with this company and are not held responsible from any wrong doing that "card benefits services" does to customers, they charge rediculous membership fees for benefits that the customer can never claim, because this company finds a way to make excuses to not pay or cover a claim in bad faith.These shady practices with these companies must be stopped, banks should not be allowed to pay a third party company to handle services they offer, there is not accountability or monitoring on this company.I would like to formally complain about this for the many people that were affected.
