My Yard Machine was picked up by *************************** 9-2O-23. Then taken to Gwinnett Mowers for an estimate on needed repairs. ************************* was paid for pickup and delivery back home. Gwinnett Mowers were to call me to discuss the cost of needed repairs before any work was done. A $70 deposit was given by me at time. They did not call me until after work was done. Then they called and said my machine was repaired. I reminded ***** that I had asked for an estimate. My son went to pay for these unauthorized repairs. He was asked to pay before he was shown the machine. When the owner, *****, cranked the machine, it blew up, spewing oil everywhere and smoking , making a loud noise. The owner was on the machine himself when this occurred. He stated , It blew up. My son had just paid in cash. ***** refused to return the money. He got very argumentative with my son. Getting very close to him in an aggressive manner, all up in his face and personal space., using profanity to my son. My son left the business premises. I personally called and spoke with *****. ***** then apologized. But still has not returned my money or my machine. But offered to sell me one of his machines for even more money. I feel this business should have called with an estimate for repairs as requested and did not do so. I feel I'm *********** return of my money and my machine. I feel this business owner demonstrated aggressive and unprofessional intimidating behavior toward my son. Then tried to sell me one of his other mower machines.. I feel this business demonstrated very unsatisfactory behavior and business practices. I have notified *****, the owner , I do not wish to but any other machine from him in 10-9-23. I have not had any response from ***** regarding my request to a refund or the return if my machine. Thank you for your help in this manner.

*************************** is an independent contractor who brought this mower to our shop.  After we repaired the mower, which did not require a lot of time, we moved it to our warehouse and called the owner that it was ready to be paid for and delivered.  We are not always able to give an upfront estimate.  We have to first get the mower to run to determine what is wrong with it.  The mower tested fine after we worked on it.  The total bill was $246.83, which included a $30 wash because it was covered with oil.  When the owner's son came to pick it up, he paid first, which is standard, and then the shop owner went to get the mower.  It cranked and then made a loud noise.  The owner thinks the internal balancer broke and knocked a hole in the engine.  The owner's son yelled that the shop owner was a ***** and got right in his face and balled up his fist.  We have witnesses to this.  The shop owner told the son to leave the shop.  He was yelling and cursing.  ********************* has texts on his phone that the lady, ******, the mother, sent him on October 9 at 5:51 p.m. to please arrange to return my yard machine mower to my home.  I am expecting a refund from them.  Please talk with ***** about this as I have contacted him.  **** texted ************ that he was waiting to hear from ***********  She texted OK, when you return it please just put it back in my garage where it was before.  **** to ************ on October 9:  Most likely it will be tomorrow morning, October 10.  On October 11 at 9:20 a.m. ************ sent this text to ****:  Thank you for bringing my machine home.  Thanks to ***** for the refund.  My son and I apologize for any misunderstanding.  At first he didn't realize the refund was there.

This is probably due to **************** son having some kind of anger issues.  How could they say the mower or money was not returned?  We always aim to please when we can. **** was preparing to bring both to them when this complaint was made.
