During the recent water damage restoration, I selected a company highly recommended by Nationwide and was pretty much coerced into using **** Davis Restorative of S. Atlanta, after Nationwide stated if I use someone not affiliated with them the work wouldn't be warranted. I took a chance. I felt confident with ***************************. mgr. walk thru. I though we'd had an understanding, but not so. Before the project started disruption began concerning the discussed avail days, the workers significant language barrier, constant miss communication, slothfulness in requesting additional approvals, accusations, and not honoring agreements. There were so many addendums, I can't tell if they a trying to slip one over on me [it sure seems like it]. Especially since they knew updates before me.Although, for the good that has been done, I appreciate, but it doesn't cancel out the disruptive process, anguish, miscommunication, and blatant disregard for explicit requests and instructions discussed and vowed to be followed [with constant reminders]. I haven't been properly communicated with and feel like they took me for a joke and didn't seriously consider attention to detail. The work looks like amatuers and everything on the proposal isn't being done accordingly. One minute they say something is approved and the next it isn't then it is???? They leave trash, don't properly cover areas, paint specs on my new door knobs, painted my back door like a child, scratched my 3 mo. old Frig while apparently cleaning it but if it had been covered properly it wouldn't needed that much dusting off. The 1st day my upstairs was covered in dust even though I had all the drs closed, my oven was left unpluged for 3+ days & when reconnected they didn't light the power light but did come back out to do it after I furiously voiced my alternatives. Nationwide changes seem to reflect their benefit. I have 3+ adjustments of which I received after the contractors. JUST SLOPPY WRK Claim # ******-GO

Project Manager ******************************* met with Homeowner to address all issues on 6/21/2023 at 10am.  Scope of work was discussed and a plan of action was implemented.   *************** will allow **** Davis of South Atlanta to complete the work and ******************** will personally do a walk through with her at the end of the job to address any concerns or questions.

While there was a meeting to discuss concerns and to assure unfinished/sloppy work would be corrected, I'm still awaiting the final results of the alterations requested and stated would be address in the original estimate, as well as, the final carpet cleaning, refrigerator top door and the walk-thru. Then a more updated response can be given.
