This complaint is directly tied to my existing case against American Home Shield (AHS), under policy number *********. May **************************** was dispatched by *** to evaluate a HVAC issue in my home on April 4th and again on May 8th. Their technician incorrectly stated that the unit was functioning properly, despite clear evidence to the contrary and on May 19th the airhandler, which the technician never checked before declaringthe system had zero mechanical malfunction, flooded and water poured from the ceiling of the gatage. This misdiagnosis delayed proper repair and led to significant damage from both leaking water and prolonged humidity exposure.Out-of-pocket expenses resulting from this failed diagnosis:$370 for a plumber visit prompted by the original, incorrect assessment $686 for HVAC inspection and repair by a second company $1,000 homeowners insurance deductible to address resulting property damage Total: $2,056 in expenses directly tied to May ***************************** negligence. The bathroom nearest the air handler unit suffered visible humidity damage including streaking walls, a rusted HVAC register, and corroded light fixtures all of which I have documented and submitted to *** and the *********************************** has since denied liability and stated that I should contact May **************************** directly, claiming the company is insured for such situations. Unfortunately, May **************************** offers no valid email contact or alternative communication method beyond phone, and phone attempts have gone unanswered. I am filing this complaint to establish a formal written record and to request appropriate *************** request is simple and supported by documentation:I am asking for reimbursement of $2,056 in out-of-pocket costs due to your companys diagnostic error. All relevant documentation, photos, and receipts have already been provided to *** and the GA Department of Insurance.

10 Oct 24, was when I paid, $1597.00, May to fix the second A/C unit in my house. Each unit was replaced with a new unit and that unit, they said had a year warranty. I asked for copies of the warranty and yet to get copies. I called this morning to have the units serviced because both units were not cooling last week and they wanted me to pay $95.00 service fee to use the Manufacture warranty or use my Home warranty, $95.00 fee. I am still waiting on a call back from the repairman. If each system has a one year warranty, why should I have to pay or use my Home warranty policy to have the systems checked? They need to check and fix both units without any additional cost to me. Provide copies of the Manufacture warranty to me.
