Piedmont Henry South tower ***** in taking care of their post-OP patients. They would not check on my Dad no matter how much he yelled for help. He knew something was wrong with his colostomy bag, but they would not come to check it.

A very poor quality of staff. They are uncaring and uncompassionate. I went in with an allergic reaction all over my body, broken out and welts everywhere crying because I would not stop itching. I live in *******, so Im out of state they told me I did not have an emergency, and they sent me away with an Antihistamine which I told him Ive tried before and does not work for me. They told me I did not have an emergency, and they would not do blood tests on me even though they told me initially, they were going to do bloodwork to see what the problem was ************************************* was the PA who informed me that I did not have an emergency and she could not help me and sent me away. It is my belief that they contacted ******* ******** and saw my ******** was no longer active. This is what made their decision not to do bloodwork because I had no insurance. If I wouldve had insurance, they wouldve done everything under the sun to run my insurance up as high as possible but since it was not active anymore, I got no treatment at all to resolve the problem this is inhumane

4/12/23 Arrived in ER with my sick 73 yr old Dad around 2pm. Hes feeling really bad and Im very anxious to get medical attention for him. They did an EKG and X-Rays around 2:30/3pm. Weve been sitting in the waiting room since. Its now 10:56pm and were still sitting in the waiting room, and the tall blk lady at Check-In refuses to find out how much longer we will wait before seeing a Dr or get the results of everything thats been done. She says theres no ETA, we will just have to wait. This is careless and extremely irresponsible and inconsiderate. Theres no compassion for the patient nor the people waiting with them. It should not take 8 hours to get the results from a Dr or even a nurse. Piedmont Henry is Thee WORST hospital ever, and I know from previous visits but this is closest to our home.Where has the compassion gone?
