I have requested to see my sons schoolwork around or about November 12, 2023. I was told by Ms. ****** that will be no problem, that I could come in on my lunch break or after school and be able to do so. The next discussion we had was to have an *** meeting and sit down and go over everything. I agree the *** meeting took place on December 15, still did not see but 2 pg!His work shown currently not being taught nowhere near this last school. On December 20, 2023 we were allowed to take our children's binders home for end of semester. However, once I reviewed it, I seen the following in the months of:September 2023 shows no work, October 2023 shows no work, November 15th a couple of days of little work, a group project unfinished, empty math pages, and finally December 2023 no work shown at all. The Prodigy online was not shown, nor able to access accomplished work online. I can only go by the facts, and what was shown to me, which was my son has not been taught while at the school. I only asked for evidence which was presented to me in the binder. It also did not help that the two qualified, degree holding teachers on staff was not paid and they left!As a parent, I feel extremely upset, and not respect as a parent who is concerned about my son's education. I work extremely hard and I am willing to ensure my son is getting the best in his education. The request to see my sons work should've been automatic with no problem. I should not be made to jump hoops and come during winter break to receive his work ! Which ************************* ghost me and never came! It should be automatically in his binder. The binder is proof that you have done your part as educators. The other fact that one of the staff members on the first day of school share that they were living out of their car with their dog and was recently evicted from their motel room. It took me back, because I thought that was something they should've been kept to themselves.
