On May 10, 2022, ***** from Reggie the Plumber (RTP) came out to my home and gave me a detailed account of the water issue I was having in my front yard. There was a service fee of $85 dollars to be applied toward total cost of repair should I decide to have RTP do the work. I chose to go with them and scheduled a date of May 31, 2022 to have - yard trenched and replaced the water service line from meter to the house w/new ball valve. The total cost of this job was $2000 dollars which I wrote a check out for. It wasn't until I received the invoice in an email that I realized, I wasn't given credit for the initial $85 dollars. June 1, 2022, I call Reggie the Plumber and spoke with a women by the name of *******. I told ******* about the $85 dollars mishap and asked about using it for credit toward a future project with my Hose ****. She did not think the owner Reggie would have a problem with this request but had to confirm with him first and get back to me. ******* call me back the next day, June 2, 2022 and left a voice message stating RTP would apply the $85 dollars toward the next job I have them do for me. Meantime, another issue arose surrounding a Storm Drain in my yard unrelated to work RTP performed ( 6 months later, I am happy with work RTP did and have nothing to complain about there). On Sept. 26, 2022 I reached out to Reggie the Plumber concerning this storm drain issue and spoke with a son of Reggie' who recommend I call his dad. Sept. 27th I called and spoke with Reggie. I asked if RTP could come out, visually inspect ONLY and give me a printed copy of their recommendation to clear $85 credit owed to me. He said, yes but after calling and speaking with him 3 times, the last being Oct. 19th, there's still been no effort to honor this credit. At this time, my trust of Reggie's word has been broken and I prefer to receive the $85 credit via secured check.
