    I completed a business transaction on Sunday, 11/20/2022 with the Contractor. A brand new water heater was to be installed at my address. I paid $500 cash to him. He and his wife arrived for installation. I left the property prior to the job completion. Upon return they had already left. I reached out to the business on 11/21/2022 to advise that the hot water was not working as it should. He gave me general information on things I could look at. He advised that he would return to the area on Saturday, 11/26/2022 to assess and return tools that were mistakenly taken from the home. The back rail was also broken when he removed the original water heater from the location. I spoke with him on 11/21/2022. I never heard from him on 11/26/2022. Reached out again on 11/30/2022 and 12/1/2022 and no answer to call or respond to text. I reached out to his wife on 12/1/2022 and 12/3/2022 and responses were received via text. I had to have the situation assessed by someone else due to the nature and safety. I have a confirmed leak from the cold and hot water line with a steady drip. As a result, the water seeped under my tiles and subflooring for the entire kitchen area. This repair had to be completed immediately to prevent any further damage to the home. **************** failed to stand behind his work that he agreed to and accepted payment for. In addition, to not returning tools that did not belong to him and additional damage that was caused to the outside of the home. He has failed to return my calls or messages or communicate regarding this matter. This is not good business practice and I would like a refund for the problems that occurred as a result of the installation completed by him in addition to the returning or replacing of my ***** wrench and bit tools that were taken.
