To whom it may concern. Let me start off by saying it is very hard out here in this world and the last thing we need to be is ripped off. I brought my car to Dignity Star Tire on 12/16/2023 because my car was blowing hot air and over heating. They repaired my radiator which was the reason for it over heating but it was still blowing out hot air. The owner **** was informed immediately the next day after the car was picked up. **** informed my fiance to bring the car back tomorrow, then when I bring it, he say can you bring it back tomorrow. Tomorrow lasted for 4 months. Now here we are 04/16 he checked over his worked and discovered the car compressor is the reason its blowing hot air. **** charged me $699 to recharge my ac that's still blowing hot with a bad compressor and condenser. **** admitted that you can't recharge the ac with a bad compressor. **** stated since his shop made that mistake he will charge the ac system for free if I let him repair those parts. I informed ****************** that if we didn't know any better he would have ripped us off. At this point we asking for a refund for $699 for a service that couldn't be done because the compressor is bad per his words. I paid a total of $2472.74 I didn't have. I can use that to go toward the work that should have been down.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I ***************** came in his establishment more than twice a week for the pass 4 months complaining about ac still blowing hot. As the invoice read I brought the car in for over heating and blowing hot air. Once I pick up the car it wasnt over heating but still blowing hot air. I called ***************** forward At this time **** want me to pay him to repair my ac and recharge for free because he know he wrong. But just ripped me off for $699 Freon is not cheap. and I paid for a service that wasnt rendered being the car was still blowing hot air. We knew the compressor was already bad thats how we no he didnt recharge the ac. YOU CANT RECHARGED THE ** WITH A BAD COMPRESSOR **** WORDS. This is the reason we know he ripped us off. He never even checked the ac system. I would like a refund **** even told me it cost $179 to recharge but charged $699. I would like a refund. And its becoming to look like he need to pay for me suffering in this hot car that I brought to him to fix. He even admitted he dont even bring his car to this shop for repairs. I would like a refund he owe me something. I dont want no free service from a mechanic I cant trust.

THE AIR CONDITION EVACUATION AND RECHARGE WHICH IS $699 - $220 AC DISCOUNT WHAT WAS CHARGE FOR THE A/C EVACUATION AND RECHARGE, UNFORTUNATELY THE R1234 FEREON IS EXPENSIVE WHICH ******* DODGE DURANGO TAKES, WHILE THE R134 IS $179.99 TO RECHARGE, I TOLD ******* AFTER INSPECTION THAT HIS A/C COMPRESOR WAS LOCKING UP AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACE, AND A/C CONDENSER HAD LEAK, AND PROMISE TO RECHARGE THE A/C SYSTEM AT NO COST TO THEM AFTER REPLACEMENT OF BAD PARTS.

So suspension work was done by this company 4 times now I have lost my job dude to them not probably fixing my car and not being able to get to work. Most recently I was on a Uber ride where the wheel broke off I was told I could bring the car back for free fixing, the car was at the shop location for 4 days until I was finally told they would not fix the car. I missed work opportunities and also now Im losing my place of residence because I lost my job which ultimately I lost my income. Over time Ive given this company $1700 of my money and constant work is needed. They can refuse to service me but you dont wait until you have had my car for 4 days I paid for a rental and then I asked for a quote and they never call me specifically when my number of contact is on the paper they have called several others beside me and I can never get a specific time of when the car would be ready. If the car wasnt worth fixing this would have not been the 4th time its fixed. Also I believe hes refusing to service me because I already complained via bbb before and was told they would repair my car for free. Suspension work ties into anything done if you service cv axle, control arm etc you will need to check other thing and give a wheel alignment to make sure things are good. My first job from this company I came in for a wheel alignment and was told I needed xyz to proceed and now its feeling like things are half assed or Im getting the short end of the stick.Business Response

I'm hereby to inform bbb that this car was requested for look over by Dignity Star Tire for the second time to be sure we don't have any issues with the repairs we did on the vehicle, but after inspection it was nothing wrong from our side of work, which I went ahead and did over-all inspection, with pictures and videos of the issues she's been having with the car, I explained it to her and gave her estimate for the repairs which she wanted us to fix it, but I ask her to take it to different shop for those repairs because she wasn't satisfied with our previous work, I we attached picture and videos we took from the inspection below.Initial Complaint

beginning 12/2022 i walked in to get a wheel alignment done to may car. i was told other things needed to be checked before starting the process so that it didn't affect the wheel alignment to malfunction or continue to have issues. the work done was control arm, sway bar links and wheel alignment amongst other things. ALOMST $600 IN WORK DONE. in March or April i had an accident with my daughter in the car Luckly i was going way below the express way speed limit. the wheel completely came off making myself swerve into a wall.... work was don't again by the same company this time cvaxle and control arm needed replacing. from that time until august the car was not driven more than 10 miles a day if that. the end of august 2023 i started driving the car more, taking my kids to and from school and work from ******* to **********. still had issues with the wheel alignment and shaking of the car which all was told previously to the shop worker/owner. here it is august i was taking a ride from Atlantic station around the corner to ************. my wheel completely comes off. it was dropped off at the shop during afterhours because i had to wait 5 hours for a tow truck. i notified the shop. was told they would check for a part to bring the car around. 3 days later i made a call to learn they weren't able. i think got the call towed back to my residents because i have personal belongings, as well i did not want to be charged for the space. same day I get it towed back to be told what's wrong with the car and they were waiting for the part. i asked if i could get the part the car would be ready i was told not same day. if not contacted the company does not communicate with you unless you contact them. now I'm learning the more it sat I'm being charged daily. when I'm waiting for work to be done. they can't give me a price or quote and they are always using used parts.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the car is still not properly fixed. And I was over charged for the work. And used parts were still used the car still feels like it will break down. The car has not been driven since the day of the pick up from the shop. It doesnt feel safe to drive.
