On January 17, after a freezing night, my sobs car (Dodge Challenger) didn't work as it should (the breaker stick didn't go full down). I know about cars. So, because I had to go to work, I brought the car to Christian Brothers Automotive." I was sure it was nothing serious, just something after the frost. After a couple of hours, they sent me an invoice for $2000.00! (I have a copy of the invoice.) A car is almost brand new with only ****** miles.I came to the shop for more explanation. Their mechanic, who checked our car, said that we needed to change a lot of parts, order these parts from a dealer, and wait for 4-5 days. I couldn't believe my ears! So, I decided to recheck this diagnosis with another mechanic. A mechanic from Christian Brother Automotive tried to stop me, saying that it was too dangerous to drive and I could do more damage to the car. But when I started the car, I realized right away that it was working perfectly with nothing to do with it. So I went to see another mechanic. After he checked our car, he proved that it had no issues, no broken parts, or any damages.I came back to the "Christian Brothers Automotive shop with a complaint and disappointment. So, they wanted to change good parts for new good parts, and I have to pay for it! It's a good thing that I know about cars, but if a young lady (like my daughter) or a single mother who doesnt know about cars comes to their shop, they will earn their money by lying. We used to be their customers for many years. And approximately a year ago, I brought them my Trailer Blazer. After checking the car, they sent me an invoice for $4000.00 because the transmission should be changed. So, after rechecking the car, I could fix it myself for not more than $200.00.I decided to write this letter because the Christian Brothers Automotive shop acts more like scammers and swindlers.
