      My 84 yo mother's home caught fire in November 2024 and it was a total loss. She contacted Meridian Restorations about 2 months later and my mother, my older brother, and myself all liked what we heard when they explained their entire restoration process to us. However, shortly after ***** and his crew began tearing down the fire damaged home, I started noticing items that were totally untouched by the fire started disappearing. For example, my mother had hired another company a few years earlier to waterproof the crawl space under her house. Since her new home is being built on the previous foundation and the fact that the commercial grade dehumidifier, sump pump, and everything else that's was under her former home was totally untouched by the fire, which burned only the attic portion of the house, they were told to leave all of the good equipment intact so that it could be used with her new home. Not only did they trash that entire system, which had cost around $15,000.00 to be installed, I began noticing several other items had disappeared while they were tearing down the old structure. I wish I was allowed more characters here because there are many things I would like to warn you about this company! Also, I've been trying to get someone from Meridian, someone that's above *****, to contact me for almost 3 months now, but my emails and my phone calls to the company have totally been ignored, and I've been trying to contact them at my mother's request. This company should be ASHAMED at how they have been treating my 84 yo mother, in fact, I would venture to say that some of the things I've witnessed have even been illegal, but we'll let the attorney make that decision.

While we understand your passion for your mothers well-being, we are legally and ethically obligated to follow the direction of her designated ***************** for the equipment mentioned, all property deemed damaged or compromised was handled in accordance with standard mitigation and demolition protocols and with approvals from the authorized party. Any further concerns can be addressed directly through your mothers appointed representative or legal counsel, with whom we are happy to continue working ****************** Meridian, we remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and quality service.       We had a water leak and had to have alot of repair and restoration and THANK GOD for Meridian.! They were AMAZING through the whole process from start to finish. A special thank you to ***** ****** he was wonderful and so helpful. We Highly Recommend Meridian for all your needs

      As a warning to all who would consider this company, they are unethical. i called to inquire about a visual inspection of a residence and, if mold was found, an estimate for cleanup. I asked if there was a free inspection or if there was a charge. The "customer service representative" would not answer my question unless I gave her all my personal information and provided an insurance company claim number. I asked her how I could have a claim number when I didn't have evidence I had mold and she told me I had to have a claim number before they would come do an inspection. She said they only worked through an insurance claim. I wanted to clarify so I asked her if this was correct: I am to call the insurance company and lie to them telling them I had mold (even though I wasn't sure) and open a claim so Meridian could come and tell me if I did or did not have mold. She asked me if I was OK. I told her I was fine but I worried about the sanity of a company with this policy. That ended the conversation and the prospect of ever using this company.

We are not at liberty to determine coverage ourselves, which is why its requested that an insurance claim be filed before we proceed with an inspection.       I was very impressed with the great and timely job this company did. My condo had significant water damage from a broken pipe.The damage included ceilings, cabinets, appliances, *****************. The best part was that they came from two hours away to help me. ***************************** **.
