After a storm. ** Top roofing solutions left a letter saying i had roof damage and they can get it covered under insurance. They said they use precision public adjusting. So after they put the estimate in i get multiple phone calls and texts from precision that we got approved and 100% of the roof would be covered under insurance short of my deductible. After that I shortly get a call saying that a mistake was made and that insurance is now only paying $3466. And i would have to pay the other $9200. They said they would work on trying to get more coverage from insurance company. After a month the roofer calls me and says that insurance approved the roof repair instead of the replacement. So the roofer came out and made a repair on my roof. They replaced about 10 shingles and 1 flashing. The work they did was about a $500 repair. I have uploaded a picture to show you the extent of the repair. So I reached out to precision public adjusting. They never reached back out to me about roof replacement or repair. They took $1900 of the $3466 from the insurance company. The insurance company thinks I got a roof replacement because that's what they sent the check for. However between precision and ga top roofing. they took the money and did a $500 repair and said we were done. They are committing insurance fraud and lying to customers. Even the roofer said in his report that he replaced 55 to 60 shingles. My picture I uploaded tells otherwise.

This is in response to the complaint by **********************  We have a contract with this client that states "The Insured hereby agrees to pay to the ** an amount equal to 15% (fifteen percent) of the gross amount of the collected loss or damage recovered (Replacement Cost Value) whether the loss is settled or paid by the insurance company or by reason of the above referenced policy as a result of adjustment, mediation, appraisal, arbitration, lawsuit or otherwise, on all coverage applicable under the referenced policy or any other applicable policy, including, without limitation, claims for bad faith and extra contractual damages or loss (hereafter referred to as the "PA fee")."  Therefore the statement in the complaint that Precision Public Adjusting has committed "Insurance Fraud", borders on Libel, as we have acted in accordance with this contract that has been reviewed and approved by the ****************** of **************** The 'mistake' they reference was not a 'mistake' in that the Home Owner's Policy that they purchased states clearly that it is an RPS policy (Roof Payment Schedule) that only pays a certain percentage of repair/replacement based on the age of the roof.  This was the home owners own policy that they chose themselves in order to have a reduced monthly premium.  Precision Public Adjusting achieved its goal which was to have the Insurance Carrier payout to the fullest of the coverage limits toward the work required.  We accomplished that aim.  PPA could never make the homeowners insurance company pay out different from, or more than the very policy that the Homeowner selected.  With that said, since this initial posting we have partnered with the roofing contractor noted in the complaint and the roof has been replaced.  Also, on a recorded call the homeowner stated that given that all has been resolved that they would consider removing this complaint.  On this recorded call the homeowner states that they have come to recognize that we did nothing wrong... but that they wouldn't remove the complaint until the roofing contractor completed the work.  The work being complete, we fully expect this complaint to be removed.

A few months ago I was request to leave a ****** review for this company. I was not happy with the way this public adjuster handled my claim, so I left a bad ****** review on their site. I am now trying to pay whatever I owed and get a letter of release from them. They are refusing to provide a letter of released unless I take the review down, saying I should be mad to my insurance, not them. This is unethical behavior, is unacceptable for a business to refuse a letter of released because a customer posted a negative review. This shows lack of professionalism and disregard for customer's rights. This was a clear attempt to suppress my honest feedback and violates my right to share my experience. Their attempt to manipulate customer feedback and their unethical business practices is unacceptable. I am writing this review to request intervention, I want to cancel any balance they believe I owed and get a letter of release, with the understanding that my review in ****** will stay. I strongly they should had verify the Tylenol policy I had before filing a claim. They failed to verify that I had sufficient coverage to proceed with my claim, they did not look at my policy terms, conditions, and exclusions. If they would have done their due diligence, then they could had provided a more effective assistance and increase the chances of successful claim outcome or I would had just chose to not file a claim at all. My ****** review was honest and I have no intention on removing it since I strongly believe a much better job could had been done with my "representation". I also would like to have a discount on what they want to charge since I believe there is negligence and unprofessionalism. I want to refuse to believe that being a Latino woman is playing a factor with the treatment I am receiving from the management staff. This is my last step in trying to work things out before I consult an attorney.

    BBB,

I am reaching out to provide a response regarding the above complaint.

Precision Pubilc Adjusting received a signed contract from ****************** giving permission to file a claim on her behalf with our services clearly outlined. Confirming client policy details is nowhere in our contract to uphold rather, this is something we offer as a courtesy service when possible. Ms. ************;had already chosen her own contract/policy with American Family before requesting our services. She chose a policy with a lower premium resulting in her carrier not paying out for the depreciated amount once a full roof replacement was obtained. It is unfortunate that she was not informed by American Family regarding these details, now resulting in complaints about our firm.

After multiple attempts to explain to ****************** that she chose her own policy with her American Family agent, she still refuses to understand that we had no part of that contract and she would need to contact them to discuss the agreed-upon policy.

While continuing with our services per our contract, we were able to provide the required information to American Family resulting in ****************** obtaining a full roof replacement for her property.

****************** has now contacted our office almost a year later, requesting our withdrawal from her claim with an unpaid balance. We would love to resolve this with our payment that is due per the agreed-upon contract.
