Some time in November 2024 I received a call From Suwanee Family Physicians indicating the insurance for my 19 year old son was decline. I have asked for time to check with the insurance. The lady indicated that if the insurance is decline, she will allow me to pay $175.00 which is the rate for non-insurance patient. I stated that I will pay the $175.00 if I can't get the insurance to pay.On December 2, 2024 a lady by the name of ***** called my 19 year old son demanding payment, my son gave the phone number for his dad (my husband) to contact. ***** called my husband and indicated the balance "could" be $500.00 if he doesn't pay today. ***** indicated to him that he could pay S272.00 and my husband paid with his credit card.I left a message for Suwanne Family Physicians on 12/2/2024; 12/4/24 and no one called me back. I spoke with ***** on 12/6/24 who indicated she did not know who I spoke with to pay only $175.00. ***** would not listen what I have to say and hung up the phone on me. I called back to speak with Dr. **** directly, and left a message with receptionist name *****, regarding the rude customer services I received from *****. Then, I received an email askig me to make an appointment for December 19, 2024, I called the office back and Ms. ***** answer the phone and told me that there was no one in the office above her I can talk to and proceed with hanging up the phone on me. My son, *****, called and indicated ***** she can discuss the bill with me directly, we were on a 3 way call and ***** said was going to record the conversation. ***** said that she told my husband that if the account goes on collection to Quest, the bill will be $500.00 or more, my husband paid her offer to settle for $272.00 when the bill was $283.00. I left messages indicating fraud in tactics to collect this bill and we should only pay $175.00. Spoke with ***** who refused to listen to me regarding my sons ****. I have promised to pay the $175.00 not the $282.00.
