This company needs to shut down immediately!!!! The person who answer the phones and works at the window needs to never work NO WHERE. They are very rude, do not allow you continue with what you have to say cut you off in mid sentence. We ask if we can get our belongings out the vehicle she said we have to have a key I said I do t work here she said she doesnt have a key either. If you have a complaint about a worker and ask to speak to a supervisor they put a person who is not a supervisor in the phone. AGAIN THIS PLACE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN OR FIND SOME PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK

I've been out of work for six weeks due to post-op rehabilitation. If a notification was sent to me between December fourth and January sixth whoever sent the email would've received an auto response stating I'd not be available until sometime after January 1. Upon receipt of that response I think the reasonable solution would've either been to extend the response time or contact our office to find an alternate contact. Neither occurred.

I have no idea who this complainant is, which day her complaint occurred on or what the circumstances of her vehicle being impounded was. She doesn't include the name of who she spoke with or details of what her problem is. In fact, her name is not in our system. We are required to obtain owner and lien holder info so if she owned a vehicle on our lot her name would be searchable in our system. It's impossible for me to provide a response to a complaint with so little information. Unfortunately, we run into many people who have had their vehicles impounded and get upset when they have to pay to release. We have been in business a very long time and have a large amount of incredibly positive ratings. If you look at the negative ratings we've received you can easily see that most come from customers who had their vehicles impounded by the police and they are mad at anyone involved. There's nothing we can do about that

Car was impounded on lot, when picked up, my back bumper was missing, headlight was smashed and left tire was flat. I have pictures of the car on the tow truck with no damage prior to arriving on lot. Owner is not willing to pay for the damages that occurred in his possession.

      Business Response

      Date: 10/28/2023

The owner's car was impounded in September 2022. The police had it delivered to their lot where it sat, out of our custody for over five months. There was an investigative hold placed on the vehicle because the PD intended to seize it. For reasons unknown the seizure did not go through and the PD decided to have it moved to our storage lot but did not release the hold so it sat on our lot for the remainder of thirteen months. With no warning, the owner showed up at our impound yard claiming to have a court order to release the vehicle. We explained to the customer that he needed to take his court order to the police department that had the hold on it because we could not release the vehicle until we were notified by the police department to release it. We also explained that the car had been here so long it was now blocked by several cars. It was already 3:00 pm and the yard closes at 5 pm so we told him it would be the next morning before we could get the vehicle to the street anyhow.

This is where things turned south and the owner became very loud and belligerent, demanding his vehicle over and over. The detective handling his vehicle finally got through to the customer that he was at the wrong place because he needed to bring the court order to them, not us and she further explained that we are not allowed to release the car at that time. She told him to come to the department in the morning so she could verify the court order and send us the release. In a nutshell, he did not get his vehicle because the police detective wouldn't release it until the following day. Despite this not being our fault the car owner blew up, acting aggressively and our impound clerk was scared of how he was acting. He finally left.

The following day, the owner was able to get the required release from the police department and return. By that time we were able to bring the car out to the street for him. It is true that there was damage to the exterior but nobody could verify whether the damage occurred at the police impound lot it sat at for five months or somehow occurred on our lot. In a good faith effort to resolve this situation, and despite there is no proof that the damage occurred on our lot we decided to return the vehicle at no cost. The customer signed a document stating he has no claims against our company. He got his vehicle and he left.

Since then, the owner and his mother have been leaving multiple comments and reviews all over social media and now have filed this complaint. The issue was already resolved as far as we're concerned. We released the vehicle at no charge, he signed off on it. There will not be any further actions taken.

I tried to resolve this issue via email which I have attached for your reference. This guy decided to add my personal information on a review for ******** after trying to resolve this issue privately.

The owner also states I was rude and very loud scaring his employees but on the ******** post he states how respectful I was and will attach for your reference as well. This guy did not do me any favors releasing the car at no cost to me, according to Georgia state laws if a vehicle is on a police hold no cost can occur to the owner.

I was also provided a paper from the owner asking me to sign it stating it was to release the vehicle to the tow company who was also present at this time. I have a learning disability, the guy was dishonest with what I was actually signing which I also have witness that are willing to make statements. I called the police to the company to make a report of the damages and he came out with this paper stating I sign that the company was not being held liable for any damages that occurred, he also admitted in front of the tow guy that he just assumed the car was going to be auction off and he wasnt paying for any damages that occurred on his lot since it was there for a year.
I am just asking for the guy to make this right as a business owner I do not deserve what happened to my vehicle no matter what the circumstances were, I had other things missing from my car as well and I am not being unreasonable for what I am asking for.
