Business failed to issue the refund for the returned 'core' of $2,000, despite repeated promises that the 'check was in the mail,' which we have an written copy of. On top of that, when providing a 'credit memo', they reduced the amount that was never paid, claiming the item was returned with missing parts, which was not true.

I purchased a tractor engine from this company over the phone on 7/5/22. The amt pd was $4617.00. They credited me for $617 because the owner, ******, gave us a flat price of $4000. He said the motor was coming from MN and I would receive in 3 days. It was closer to a month and came from Florida. It was the wrong motor. It should have been a V2203 4 cylinder diesel tractor motor for a L4630 Kabota tractor. It probably came from a kid steer instead of tractor and did not fit my tractor, even though the owner had gotten VIN to be sure he got it right. ****** promised to make it right by picking up the first motor and sending a new one. It took several weeks to pick up the first one and I still have not received a new one. This was several months ago. ****** also said I could get my money back at any time. I really wanted the right motor and I gave him many opportunities to make it right. Now I want my money back. *********, at the company, said she was crediting my credit card for the $4000 on October 31st. It has not been refunded. I have called 22 times since October 31st and have gotten no response. According to my phone records I have either talked to or left messages with this company at least 70 times since this started. I am a senior citizen living on social security and I do not just have $4000 to throw away. I need the money to try to find another motor.. Your help is appreciated.
