    Reservation from 12/26 to 12/30/22. The support box to the King **** bed was broken and left side of the mattress hung 8 inches lower. Bathroom door would not close.Commode seat was wrong ************ for toilet and one plastic bolt broken. Water contained black slime specks. We had a 1st floor and guests on the second floor were noisy and though several complaints to office, nothing changed. Fortunately, our last night was different due to new guests.When we booked our reservation; we were told of several amenities specific to the Lodge. We were told about a large lodge room with a full kitchen. We noticed it was unlocked and there were several dirty coffee cups. We decided to fix a small dinner. We did light cleaning before we sat down. While there; ******* came in with a young man and barked Who told you that you could use this room? My wife explained our understanding this was one of the amenities. She had a young man with her who began filming without permission. She stated to us that this was an event room and wanted to charge us $1,000. We asked about this information and why it had changed after reservations made. No answers were offered. We said we would finish and clean up and leave. The two individuals seemed satisfied at this and left. In just a few minutes a man arrived and told us we had to leave because he had to lock up . We made sure room was clean and left. The door was checked several times during our stay and was NEVER locked. Upon check-out, we were subjected to horrible service as well as contemptible manners. *******, GM asked how our stay was. When we calmly said we had several items we would list and send him but didnt want to get into it; he cut us off and said Lets just call ourselves even!. He raised his voice and said we NEED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY. I asked for a receipt and he childishly said receipts were not prepared till 12 noon (checkout deadline is. Heed this warning and go somewhere else.

    This is the worst place to stay. The rooms are very small at the lodge. The phone service doesn't work and the wifi doesn't either. We were the only 2 people at the lodge and it was very frightening! After checking out early and requesting a partial refund, the person who identified himself as the manager, ******* called and was very rude and nasty. He also had some guy contact us pretending to be from their corporate office named ************************* to threaten us. I spoke with someone at least 4 times before I booked and not once did she state that we would not have phone service or that the phones might not work. They also gave us a wifi password that would not allow us to connect to their network. We stayed 1 night and we couldn't sleep because we were afraid and very uncomfortable, so the next morning we checked out. After we checked out we received a receipt for and early check out fee for the price of 1 night's stay.
