5 starsI’m very satisfied with Parker Exterminating! The entire staff has always been professional, courteous and knowledgeable about their business. I have a quarterly inspection and treatment and I do not see any bugs in or around my home. I had termites and they came out and took care of that for me in a timely manner and have already come back for a follow up and found everything to be termite free. I trust them and know that they will always be honest and do an excellent job! Thank you to all at Parker!Review fromJulie L

I purchased a home that Parker Exterminating serviced. Found that the home had termite damage but no active termites. The seller was unaware of the damage and it was not there prior to Parker Exterminating applying H2 application (name of product might be wrong). I asked them, if the damage was there prior to the treatment why did they not inform the homeowner. The individual stated she could not talk to me anymore and hung up. Unclear if they are going to honor the treatment policy and go back to the house and apply more treatment but would you trust them or their products? I don't!David M. Parker Exterminating

***. *******, thank you for your review. I think you have the whole picture skewed. We issued an inspection report to **** ****** */**/2022 Stating that there was old termite activity hear the AC in crawlspace as well as non-active wood decay fungi and wood decay throughout crawl. I believe there is a lot of "he said she said" which is not how we have been in business for 50 years. The reason the secretary hung up on you, is because you adamantly continued to tell her to "focus"? The contract that ***. ****** also had in possession at the time of your closing clearly states: "THIS CONTRACT PROVIDES FOR RETREATMENT OF A STRUCTURE BUT DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR THE REPAIR OF DAMAGES CAUSED BY WOOD-DESTROYING ORGANISMS.(RETREATMENT ONLY GUARANTEE).
ALSO, in the possession of your seller, there is a Contract for treatment. The initial period of Guaranty comes due in ******* **, 2022. It also states that the "GUARANTY MAY BE TRANSFERRED IN THE EVENT OF A SALE OR OTHER TRANSFER OF THE TREATED PROPERTY. A TRANSFER FEE WILL BE APPLIED. THE GUARANTY TRANSFER IS EFFECTIVE BY NOTIFYING THE COMPANY IN WRITING WITHIN "60" DAYS AFTER THE OFFICIAL DATE OF TRANSFER AS TO WHOM IS ON THE PROPERLY EXECUTED PROPERTY DEED.
And by the way, BUGHOUSE PEST CONTROL, who issued you an "Official South Carolina Wood Infestation Report" did not mark any damage, any previous infestation nor evidence of treatment. You do understand that the Wood Infestation Report is a legal document? It seems to me that you like to jump to conclusions without having the facts and speaking rudely to my teammates. They also have your last name spelled wrong on that report.
I believe you were given a date of total home retreatment of ******** **** 2022 at 8:30am.
***. *******, I have all documentation if you would like to see it. The South Carolina Rules and Regulations for the Enforcement of the South Carolina Pesticide Control Act Section K page25 section 5) The Wood Infestation Report must at a minimum disclose:
a) All inaccessible parts of the structure
b) The apparent presence or absence of all visible insect-related damage in all accessible areas of the structure. The reporting of a "previous infestation "of a particular insect is not sufficient to meet this requirement to report insect damage.
c)The apparent presence or absence of all visible active and previous wood-destroying insect infestation in all accessible areas of the structure.
d)The wood moisture- content readings obtained in the substructure, as well as any decay damage, active wood-destroying decay fungi, or excessive moisture conditions in visible and accessible areas below the level of the first main floor. Decay damage must be reported as such.
e)The specific location and approximate extent of all damages, active infestations, previous infestations, and excessive moisture conditions. These items may be reported as "widespread," "throughout the substructure," or in a similar terms only if their extent and occurrence justifies such broad language.
f)All damage must be reported whether or not it requires or may require repair or further inspection by another professional. Damage remaining in areas that have previously been repaired must also be reported.
Thank you again for your Review.

Your assistant focused on what the sellers provided but not my question, so yes she was asked several times not to interrupt and to focus so I could get clarity. Your assumption is I assumed wrong by your company. I was forced in that direction by the horrible listening skills by your assistant who only focused on others and not the question. The question was very simple: was the damage present prior to treatment and if so; why didn't yall inform the owners. She continued to focus on the report from a third party that the previous owner used. Attacking me when your assistant refused to listen to the question isn't good customer service either.David M. ***. *******,
I'm not using this forum for pointing fingers. I feel that the words, "forced" and "horrible listening skills" and also "attacking" are very derogative vernacular for this situations. The previous homeowners did know there was previous termite damage. It states clearly on the inspection report issued before any work was done. My Company wasn't notified by the seller of you buying the property, which clearly states in the guarantee. I feel that I need to have the State involved in this matter and will contact them directly. I WILL NOT, BE ON YOUR PRESMISES DECEMBER 13TH. I feel that an investigation should be conducted before I use very precious man hours and chemical for a problem that you do not have. Also, I would think that you would want to be at the property for the duration of the treatment and you stated you will not be there on the 13th. You're "horrible and forceful" thoughts of our Company I think should justify you being on premises so that we adequately and openly listen to any concerns you have. And so that we do an "honest" job. Thank you.Krystal K

I immediately notified your company I was the new home owner upon purchase. I cannot control the previous owner just as you cannot. Your company informed me that the contract was extended to me and now you are pulling that back. That is a breach of contract. It is not my fault the previous owner did not communicate. Nor is it my fault your assist cut me off on multiple occasions missing the questions. Which led to me asking her to focus and listen. It's very simple. I'm fully aware that a company would report findings prior to treatment. Your assistant refused to acknowledge this nor did you ever provide proof that you informed the previous owner. The first time I heard you did this was on this form. Not in the email or phone traffic, wonder why. You did not want to communicate in a private matter and now breaching contract. "I feel that an investigation should be conducted before I use very precious man hours and chemical for a problem that you do not have." Not sure what you are threatening here. Investigate what the lack of full transparency from your company? Or now attempting to waste my time and money by having me at my house for a treatment that is external to the house and does not require my presence. I was informed you solely wanted me at the property to avoid customer dissatisfaction. I promptly informed the assist that was already done and I just want what the contract entitles me to, which your company stated was another treatment, and I would not be utilizing your company in the future. YOU repay by a breach of contract. Glad the public can see how you treat people. At my previous house I used Arrow Exterminators and never once had drama.David M. Parker Exterminating

Ms *******, I suggest you continue your wonderful arrangement with ***** Exterminators. I contacted the State licensing agency, the South Carolina Department of pesticide Regulation. Did you speak with the inspector? It clearly states that upon the discovery of LIVE termites, which you do not have, a re-treatment of the active area 10' by 10' would be performed. Your company ***** Exterminators told you you had active termites and you do not. I really encourage you to call the state, I left a voicemail with all the contact information. You are also asked to pay a transfer fee for the termite warranty which you have not. I understand that the treatment is on the exterior of the home, but given the atmosphere you e created. I'm surprised you trust our Company with a treatment without you being there. This is the last reply I'm making on here. I think this platform allows the public to see that whatever situation you've created I'm trying to address. Merry Christmas Mrs *******. I hope you contact the State.

Caleb,
I'm beyond sorry you feel the need to continue to attempt to attack AND harass me. Bottom line no Arrow did not say they were active, stated that they may or may not be active just can see there was damage and would need to look into more. That is when I informed them you have the coverage and they recommended continued use. I contacted your company, you sent someone out. He assessed and said he did not believe there were active and would treat. Your assist refused to list to have the ability to properly respond which resulted to all this drama. Bottom line, your company offered to do a service and now you refuse. YOU personally want me to waste my time and be present when you treat outside the house to inconvenience me. I already told your company I was not going to continue service with as I can't tell where the mess happened, previous owner or you, yet yesterday I received a letter to renew service for $250. Is this the transfer fee as transfer is different that renewal and neither were mentioned until I received the letter or the attack. Do not contact me again.
