    I have a metal shingle roof on my home at **** ****** **** ** ******** *** I hired Mark P****** owner of I Green Solutions to repin/ renail each and every shingle to ensure that shingles do not come off (a problem I was having with the roof). Personally in my presence he assured me he could do this work, and I also agreed for him to repaint the roof. He gave me a selection of color charts to select the colors. I paid him before the work $10,239.80 and after the work was completed, I paid $10,239 for a total of $20,479.60. He mailed me a signed contract for a guarantee for 10 Years. It is dated ****/21 the month of the work. I had shingles come off 3 times since then. The first time I had a leak in a bedroom because of the missing shingle. His workman replaced the 3 or 4 shingles although he refused to paint the stained ceiling spot (not the entire ceiling). I had to get up on a ladder to paint the spot (ceiling 12 feet high) and I am a senior citizen. The 2nd time, this year, He sent a man to replace the shingles (3) and since then, I have 6 shingles to replace. Mr P****** said to me via his secretary that I need to file an
    insurance claim to replace the shingles. I have a $2500 deductible on my insurance and Mr P****** should honor his contract. He nor his secretary do not return my calls. His "maibox" answering machine is full and I cannot leave a message. His secretary will not answer the phone and I have left several messages with no response. I am desperate for assistance because I may get more leaks. I request Mr P****** honor his contract.

    In **** of 2021, we
    completed a roof restoration on Mrs. *********s home.  We did not install
    the original shingles.  Mrs. ********'s failing metal shingles are due to
    high winds from several recent storms.  We have been out a couple of times
    and performed repairs (as a courtesy), but our warranty specifically excludes
    this type of damage related to high winds.  Attached is the workmanship
    warranty provided after her roof restoration was completed.  In it, under
    Exclusions, point number 1: " Damage to the roofing, property, building or
    contents caused by fire, settling, distortions or other failure of the
    building, natural causes including floods, lightning, high winds, hail,
    hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, or extraordinary or unusual
    events."  For any further damage to be repaired, Mrs. ******** will
    need to meet with her insurance company for a resolution.  We are more
    than happy to assist with the insurance process, but we have met and extended
    our services well beyond our contractual obligations to this point.

    I am rejecting this response because:I specifically asked Mr P****** to stabilize/renail each and every shingle on the roof. What was guaranteed? The painting of the roof?  It is ridiculous to guarantee only the paint job. After his work, shingles continued to come off (I have 7 shingles in my garage now). They came off when there was no wind.   I believe $20,000. is a lot to pay for just a guaranteed paint job.  My initial reason that I called him was for the shingle problem. Since he refuses to replace the shingles, I am asking Mr p****** to refund $2500; the deductible on my homeowners insurance so I can get the work done. The crux of the entire  problem is that the job to renail each shingle was not done. He can either do the job as requested or refund $2500.
