    Buddy's Auto Mart sold me a used car with a cracked engine. The transaction took place in February 2024. Their personal mechanic said the car was "great" that it was in perfect working order and that he would buy it if he needed a car. I believe they knew it had a cracked engine and sold it anyway. I would like a refund or exchange.

    We sale all vehicles as is and each individual customer is made aware of that ; we however will not sale a vehicle in non working conditions. The customer needs to state the vehicle make and model so we can better assist them and as well if the engine had a crack in it the vehicle would not be able to perform its regular duties in other words wouldnt run at all 

    The fact that the customer drove off the lot with it just doesnt line up with the statement that was made .

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The car we bought ran but the water pump had a hole in it, as a result the engine cracked from overheating. It's worthless now. Maybe the mechanic at *****'s should have checked the engine. How can this place let someone drive off in a car like that? The mechanic said " it's a great car." We paid $3200.00 for a piece of trash.
