    I live in *******, in June/July my family took a road trip to **************** and we drove my truck, which is a **** *** **** with a custom package from a company called Sherrod. While on vacation the truck broke down, several bolts disappeared from underneath the truck and it was rendered non-driveable. We got in contact with the dealer in ******* where we purchased the truck and we were instructed to contact Sherrod the custom package company. Upon speaking to Sherrod they helped us get a tow truck to bring the truck to the nearest qualified mechanic. Because we were on vacation we ended up needing a rental vehicle. We were told the tow truck and rental expenses would be covered, but with the rental we needed to pay directly. We got a rental, our truck was fixed a few days later, and we then returned the rental, picked up our truck, and left for *******. We have spent two months trying to contact Sherrod about the rental expense and nobody is returning our call. I have left several messages for their service department with no return call. I have emailed them from their website with no return message. I have spoken to several people who claimed they would have someone call me back and never have a received a return call. The most recent call was on 08/16/2024 in which I spoke to a nice woman in their HR department named ******** *, she gave me her email and asked me to send her the invoice for the rental and that she promised me someone would call me on 08/19/2024. Still to this day I have no return call from them. She never even responded to my email either. One time I did speak to the original person who helped us, he said "I'm sorry my manager is out on leave for having a baby, and someone will call you back as soon as they can" Nobody has returned our call, we have at least a dozen attempts at reaching them. We feel we were lied to and taken advantage of, and the lack of return calls is unprofessional, not to mention all of this was covered by warranty.

    I, ******** *all of Sherrod Vans, spoke with *** ********* directly on 9/9/2024. We discovered that *** ********* was not receiving our multiple email attempts to contact him in regard to his rental invoice. Although we were not responsible for payment on the rental car, we have agreed to pay for his rental car invoice due to the frustration he experienced with not receiving our emails and being under the impression that we were unresponsive to his request. A check is being mailed directly to *** ********* for the amount of the rental car.
