I ordered a medical device from IR ********************** and it was financed through a bank they recommended. After signing, they began making additional demands such as purchasing supplements from them, asking for a list a my patient contact information and many other things we did not discuss prior to signing. They wanted my marketing to be approved by them, to share private information from my patients, recurring supplement purchases to give to each patient in order for their device to "work the best". If I asked a question, they would say things like "we talk about that on call number 5". They hid information from me. I would never had agreed to this purchase. I refused delivery of the InvisaRed device and it went back to them. They have the device and the money from the bank. I believe they and the bank work together on this. They have it down to a science, in my opinion. First ************* out of *********. I want them to give the bank the money back since I dont have the device. I dont feel comfortable with them, as I feel they are scammed and my patients deserve for me to work with a company I trust. I do not trust them. I would like my down-payment of $4700 back, but I can live without that at this point.Business Response

Attached is Her purchase agreement for the device she purchased. As outlined in the purchase agreement she signed and agreed that all sales are final as the device is made to order. Per her request, our team has ceased communication with her. Refund will not be granted as the device was made to order and we fulfilled our end of the agreement. The request for the clinic "hot-list" of patients is designed to help clinics activate their internal patient base for this new service line, while it is recommend as well to help them generate income it is optional. Likewise, supplements while recommend are optional as it can help improve patient results. There is no required subscription or even subscription option for supplements. Her concerns were address via text in May as show in the attached screenshots.Initial Complaint

On 1/9/24 I started a medical weight loss program at IR Medical Center in *********, **.-which has two locations-one in Woostock, GA and one in *******, **. The program included semaglutide injections and non invasive red light therapy for 4-6 months. Total amount paid on 1/9/24 was *******. On my second week of treatment, I had a bowel obstruction for five days. After an appt with my oncologist, she advised to immediately discontinue treatment at this facility. We are not sure whether the injections and/or laser caused the blockage. I had small intestinal cancer in march 2022, thus any bowel blockage is of great concern. I spoke with ********* at the facility, and told her about the obstruction. She told me to bring back the semaglutide not used in a refridgerated container and I did so on 2/9/24. And, I informed her I could not continue treatment after 30 days. ********* said to send her a letter from my oncologist. On 2/12/24 I emailed ********* all intestinal surgery documentation, and on 2/14/24 I emailed my oncologists letter to stop treatment. On 2/19/24 at 10 am I drove to the location and the doors were locked. Another patient began knocking on the door until ******** came out and she was mad at him for knocking. I asked ********* about a partial refund for only having one months treatment. She said if I would have financed the amount with monthly payments she could stop payments completely. But, ********* told me on 1/9/24 interest rates were high and it would be better to finance on my own credit card. So, I paid ******* on 1/9/24 and now I am being told I cannot receive a refund. On 2/21/24 I left a voicemail and received no call back. On 2/28/24 I sent another email to *********, no reply. Phone is rarely answered. I am currently seeking a refund of services I have not received after 30 days.Business Response

To whom it may concern,
On January 8th 2024, ******************** purchased our Laser w/semaglutide package. At no time during her intake processes did ******************** state she had cancer two years ago. As her complaint states, she is not sure if her injections caused the blockage she spoke of, but she was advised to stop the injections if she felt this was the cause of the obstruction. Never was ******************** asked to return the medication as we cannot take back medication that was prescribed specifically for her, however, ******************** was advised that she could discard the medication if she so desired to. Our records indicate that ******************** has had five laser sessions to date. Furthermore, ******************** signed a contract stating that she understood and agreed that all payments are Non-refundable and Non-disputable. Her contract also states that she understood that compounded medications are prescribed to her, delivered to her residence only, and cannot be returned or canceled once approved and the prescription has been issued. ******************** stated that she came our facility on 2/19/24 at 10:00 a.m. to a locked door. Our hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with lunch hours of 12:15 to 1:15. We do not lock our doors at 10:00 a.m.

I met with a sales nutritionist in early February and agreed to a plan that consisted of a personal nutrition plan including red light laser treatment and weight loss shots. I was told there was no timeframe of the plan, I would receive bi-weekly laser treatments, blood work and hormone testing done by a doctor, weekly measurements and reports and have a personalized diet plan. The cost of the plan was close to $3000 and could be paid on monthly installments through Cherry. ****, the salesperson, said there wouldnt be a credit check just paying the installments for whatever term you choose. He was very misleading and provided inaccurate information. I repeatedly asked for a copy of my plan and the team was never able to produce anything. The sales guy was fired, they changed the laser treatments to once a week, the shots were very inconsistent and I never received a personalized nutrition plan. Their staff was terrible at the injections as I received numerous bruises throughout the process. This place is a SCAM!!!!!Initial Complaint

Hello,
This individual became a patient in May of 2023. They went online and purchased a 4-month program that automatically rolls into a month-to-month unless a 30-day cancellation notice is given in writing, either via email or certified mail. This is made clear on the website when you purchase and in the contract that is signed prior to receiving medication or a visit with our doctor. The contract is not in lawyer terms or extremely lengthy. It is very clearly written and only about 7 lines long. We do not have any correspondence from the customer stating they wanted to cancel either via email or certified mail. The customer also cannot produce either of these things. The reason we do not accept calls or voicemails as cancellation notices is for this reason right here and this is why it is clearly stated in the contract. We cannot go back into our system to pull old voicemails. They get deleted monthly because the system cannot hold them. Meaning other patients are not able to leave voicemails when calling. It is also stated in the contract that there are no refunds because medication is ordered specifically for that patient and usually the same day.Once it is ordered it is extremely hard to cancel those orders because we use a pharmacy, we do not make medication in house. The shipping date *** have been after their phone call, but the order was placed the same day as the appointment with our doctor. If this patient wanted to consult their doctor before taking the medication they should have done so before purchasing. We list exactly what we use on our website and the dosage. They did not need to purchase and speak with our doctor prior to discussing it with their primary doctor. We sincerely apologize this medication did not work out for you, but we have extremely high success rates as do other medical offices around the country with this medication. Medication was ordered by the customer and was received. We cannot issue refunds when medication is already in the possession of the patient.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:was not given a copy of what I had signed until I made a complaint with my credit card company.
Again, I feel this is a fraudulent company and the public needs to be made aware.
Am attaching copy of letter from my doctor who agrees the public needs to be made aware of this company.
Sincerely,

Went in March 2023 for blood work. They took payment for a $59 red light laser, then charged me (using a credit line, Cherry) $3000, which you can't get out of. I didn't sign anything. The original person, **** who signed me up told me vague info, including doctors visits, PRP injections, peptide injections, hormone therapy. **** was fired for giving me misinformation. I went once a week for 9 weeks, only to see the doctor once. I asked several times about the program and they kept pushing me off. They finally stopped calling me back. There are several people in the same boat as me. This place is a total scam.Business Response

This customer paid $59 for a consultation with a free 30-minute laser treatment included. After the consultation, where all options and offerings were mentioned and offered, this customer chose to buy a ********** laser plus injections package. This customer did not purchase anything other than that. The customer received 10 sessions plus 10 injections before cancelling and no showing on the last two sessions. They were told multiple times they could come and receive the last two sessions but have not come into the office. Our doctor is in-house three days a week and all clients have access to speak or see him. When checking out you can schedule either an in person or telehealth visit with him if you want to see him. This client never asked to speak with him or mentioned anything to him in passing as his door is open to clients in the clinic. We strive to give all our customers the best treatment possible, but the client must also make the effort in their treatment or results may not be what theyre wanting. Again, this client is more than welcome to return to the clinic to receive the rest of the treatment if they choose to do so.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: What was told to me in the beginning by ****, who signed me up and the doctor on staff, is not the services I received. The original agreement was peptides (2 of them. 1 Ipamolalin/CJ **** and BPC 157.) for weight loss and injury repair. They put me on one for 6 weeks, then the other. They were supposed to be together the whole time. After discussing the peptides with actual functional doctors, it turns out the peptide protocol was supposed to be 5 days on, 2 days off. Not once a week. (Which does nothing, but waste peoples time.)Also, the injections were to include PRP injections in my knee. I saw the doctor one time and he gave me a PRP injection and told me to come back in 6 weeks. In fact, the doctor told me twice to come back, which is why I kept coming. After the 6 weeks, I was informed it would be another $3000.
The original $59 I spent for the laser on day one, I never received. I was told day 1, this is a program with nutritionists and doctors to go over hormone therapy. Which is on their website. None of which happened.
**** was apparently fired for telling people the wrong information. Which should be on them, not the customer.
Sincerely,
*******************************Business Response

In the original agreement signed by ********************, she agreed to 12 laser sessions + 12 injections. The peptide regiment for the two peptides prescribed is 50 units a week or 50 units twice a week depending on different factors. She was prescribed as needed, which was once a week. Nothing was stated about them being delivered at the same time, especially since we were treating the injury first. The BPC157 was given first to help with the *** shot which she was given. After 4 weeks we began administering the Duo-Blend (Ipamorelin/CJC1295)along with her BPC157 until she was given 6 doses of each, as she had only paid for 12 injections. As for the second *** shot, yes that would be an additional $3000 because was given a hefty discount for the first one. Our normal price for everything that she received is astronomically higher than what she paid for. This customer is expecting 24 injections, 12 laser sessions, 2 *** shots, dietary plans, unlimited access to doctors, and hormone therapy/replacement for only $3000. This is quite a ridiculous claim and reason for a refund when she received everything but the final injections and laser session. And, as stated in our previous response, this customer is more than welcome to come in and receive the final injections and laser session that was paid for.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: Once again, what was told to me, by **** (before he was fired for telling clients wrong information) was PRP injections were part of this program. Also, he said I would be receiving 2 injections, 1 for weight loss (Ipamolin) and 1 for injury (BPC 157). It wasn't till after a few weeks that I noticed it was only 1 injection (BPC 157). **** was still there and I spoke to the doctor and he added the 2nd. Only to have them stop the 1st one after 2 weeks. When I spoke to the doctor, he again told me to come in to have the 2nd PRP injection with stem cells. It was the 3rd time the doctor told me to come in for the 2nd PRP. (When I asked about the 2nd shot , not only was I told it would be another $3000, but that I should have never received the 1st shot). .After doing research and speaking to functional doctors, the injections I did get, did nothing for either injury or weight loss, taking them once a week. They are daily injections (5 days on, 2 off). The weekly injection that does work is the semiglutide, which I did not want. **** should have been upfront in the beginning, instead of lying to get a sale. What I was told up front, is not what I received.
Sincerely,

I went to ** MEDICAL on May 1st 2023 because I saw a add on ******** saying you can lose weight for $59 for a laser treatment. When I got there the ***************** told me I would lose alot of weight by doing the Lazer but it was important to do the Semeglutide shots as well. He said the he whole package was $3000. He made me sign a contract? However he did say I had 30 days to cancel the contract. He put a **** dollars on my debit card and **** on my care credit card. After doing 3 Laser sessions I saw no results. They lied and said you will see results in one session guaranteed. I DID NOT SEE ANY RESULTS. Its like they just put a heating pad on your stomach.. But the worst part was when I took the Semeglutide shot they gave me it made me very sick and I could not get out of bed the next day..I was lethargic and I had horrible stomach pains all night and the next day. I called them and told them how sick I was and they did not care. The lady at the front desk was very rude and had the nerve to ask me if I had any alcohol!!!! I told her no I dont drink and I wanted my money back since I would not be coming back since you had to get the shots every week for 16 weeks. Why would I pay that much money to be sick? I told them I won't be coming back. They advised me there was no refunds. I told them they said there was a 30 day grace ****** to cancel. They then said I would have had to sent them an email before the 30 days which as you can see I did. See email which is attached. I sent it on May 25th to cancel which is in the 30 day grace ******. It's simply not fair .THEY ARE STEALING PEOPLES MONEY!. I called the ** MEDICAL and were very rude to me. I spoke to 2 girls that would not give me their name. They were both very rude and the girl in the billing department said if I would dispute the charge she would *** me!!!! Are you kidding me? I can't believe this is the way they do business? I can't help I got sick and I refuse to pay $**** for 1 shot. This is disgusting I want my money back. I don't think I should be liable to pay this money for services I do not use. They are very rude and unprofessional. And then threatening me? No, that is insane. They care nothing about the health and welfare of people. They just want money. I'm not paying for something that made me so sick that I could not get out of bed. They said I could of went and got a B12 shot but you can't do that if you can't get out of bed. They are scammers. They have ads all over ******** saying 59 bucks to lose weight. It's a scam!!! I will not lose **** bucks. I'm a single mom!!!!! THEY ARE NOT ACCREDITED WITH THE BBB HERE IS THE ***** I SENT TO THEM ON MAY 25TH TO CANCEL WHICH IS BEFORE THE 30 DAY CANCELLATION DATE ---------- Forwarded message ---------From: ***************************** <****************************>Date: Thu, May 25, 2023, 6:49 AM Subject: Re: Appointment scheduled for May 24, 2023 4:30 p.m.To: Patient Fusion <*******************************************************************************************>Cancel my contract ASAP please!!! I will not be able to come back since the Semeglutide made me sick and the Red light DOES NOT work. Put the money back on my card and ny care credit card. Im sure you dont want me to write a bad review all over Google, ******** and every else!! Especially since you have no reviews at all!!!!! Which is weird. The girl I talked to yesterday was very rude. When I told her I got sick from the Semeglutide she asked if I was drinking alcohol!!!!!! WTH????? I guess you people care more about money than your clients!!!! Cancel my stupid contract and give me back my money!!!!!Initial Complaint

On 3/30/2023 I went to this weight loss center to inquire about an ad for $35 a week injections to help me lose weight. The provider gave me no transparency about a predatory loan they are running to bully clients into a loan that involves peoples credit. They did not explain the details with transparency and signed me up for a loan with a 30% interest rate they did not talk about. I didnt know this was a loan, the way they described it is a payment plan that was $100 a week for 10 weeks. I immediately noticed this after I left, so I called to cancel the process. They said I could and then turned around and said that I wasnt able to cancel it, after they told me they would and can cancel up to 60 days. They are trying to bully clients into payment since it involves your credit, and they didnt give details about this until AFTER I left. Who knows how many other clients have had to deal with this. I have been forced to freeze my credit, which hopefully resolves the issue, but ultimately this is about honesty, integrity, and transparency. This company has gone back on their word and is trying force a payment when it can be simply cancelled.Business Response

Hi Please see attached for the contract the patient signed with IR Medical Centers for our Medical Weight Loss Plan with Injection, the Financing contract he signed with a 3rd party vendor (Cherry), as well as the Blood Draw done after patient (he) decided to purchase our package. The patient's medication for his program has already been purchase which is why there are no refund on these packages.
He came into our office for a consultation on 3/30/23 and after meeting with our staff decided to purchase our $2,000 weight loss package that includes medication as well. The program he purchased involves 10 weeks of Treatments. To pay for the package and blood draw associated with our program the patient chose to use Cherry (a patient financing source) to pay for his treatments. The payment plan he chose with ****** was for a 24 month repayment at $105.90 a month. The patient is not paying $100 a week as he claims. At no point was he told he had 60 days to cancel. Due to the medication already being purchased, the blood draw already being completed and commencement of the patient financing plan with a 3rd party vendor this is not something we can simply cancel. Please note the refund policy he signed in the contract provided.
