    DATE OF TRANSACTION: Saturday, April 26th, 2025 AMOUNT OF MONEY I PAID: $429.31 WHAT THE BUSINESS COMMITTED TO PROVIDE TO ME: Window tinting services. Specifically to redo the window tint on the back half of my car. Both rear doors and the main rear glass.WHAT THE NATURE OF THE DISPUTE IS: The business did the job but also removed all heating elements pertaining to the defrost system from the rear glass without my consent or knowledge, when they removed the old tint off of the rear glass. They also destroyed the fiber board underneath the carpeting in the rear deck and now the carpeting does not fit tightly against the deck like it did before taking my car to them. My complaint is that I now have no rear defrost and that my rear deck underneath the glass is ruined.WHETHER OR NOT THE BUSINESS HAS TRIED TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM: No. I called them on the morning of Wednesday, April 30th, 2025; this was the first time that I noticed that my defrost did not work. I assumed there was a wire loose and called them to see if I could bring my car back in to fix it. It was at this time that they told me that they scraped off all of the heating elements and that they completely destroyed the rear defrost system and made it entirely inoperable with no other explanation. They only said that I had no other choice, and I responded that they gave me no other choice by not informing me of the scope of the work required to do the job. Afterwards, they offered nothing in return and eventually hung up on me as I was trying to cope with what I had just learned, which was that my rear defrost system is now completely inoperable and that they decided to destroy my car without my knowledge or consent.IF THE ISSUE INVOLVES ADVERTISING: No, it does not.
