At the beginning of July 2022, I saw a session on ******** about a class offered by ****** Fit Body Bootcamp for seniors called Fit Forever. I contacted them to get information about joining the class. I met with a company representative on zoom, who told me the membership fee was $627.22 per year with a $51 monthly fee for a 12 month period. I expressed concern about the monthly fee as I am of retirement age, and we agreed to lower the monthly fee to $49. I attended the first month worth of virtual classes - either through ******** or Zoom and was getting emailed every day. At the end of July, I was notified by the bank that my debit card had a fraudulent charge and a new card was reissued. While waiting for the card, I received a notice from ****** that I owed them $51.31 per week for the month of August for a total of $205.24. I contacted the representative who told me they waived my membership fee, which was why I was being charged per week. Normal gym memberships are between $30 and $70 per month. This company misled me to believing the $49 charge was monthly. Just because I am a senior does not make me senile. I want to make sure no other seniors are taken advantage of like this and would like a full refund.
