Two nights ago, my daughter and her boyfriend went to play mini golf at Tropics. Everything started fine until they got to the middle of the course. There was a big family in front of them so they took a little longer which was totally fine. However, the group behind my daughter started to threaten and bully her and call her names (profanity). Not sure if they were from here, but they spoke English & another language. Since they were almost done with their game, they ignored the people & finished up. When they were done, they reported the incident to the management who did apologize. My review is not about the business or the owners. My issue is that I tried to call the management that night as soon as she got home and I heard what had happened. The boy answered and was very **** with his answers. I asked him to please have the owners or supervisors call me. The next day, I still did not receive a call so I called back and another boy answered and I had the same reaction. Either they are too busy to talk to me or didn't feel that my concern is worthy of their time. As a customer, I would think that my call is just as important as anyone else. This time I was told that management does not work on the weekends and someone would call me back on Monday. As of right now, I haven't heard back. I am not sure if the owners are parents, but my issue is how would they feel if their child was threatened and no one bothered to return a call just to explain what happened and what was done. I am not asking for money back. All I am asking for is common courtesy and some empathy to a parent whose child was threatened. I understand it is not the company's fault or the employees. All I wanted to know is what they did about the situation and for someone to take it seriously. As a manager in a large company, I understand how important customer service is and that it can make or break a business which is why it is so sad and disappointing to be treated like this.
