      I (Thespian ********, husband) called Furuta Plumbing to set up an appointment. While on the phone they told him that they would provide a quote** when the plumber saw the job. If we agreed to their quote price while the plumber is at our condo, then they would do the work right then. And, if we did not agree to their quote at the time of inspection we would have to pay $ 150.00.***Note: the New Oxford American Dictionary defines QUOTE as a verb: to give someone (the estimated price of a job or service)Note we sent detailed description of the work we wanted to have done including photos of parts to replace, and asked if we should go ahead and purchase the inexpensive parts before plumbers arrival.Thinking we would get invoice w/ a standard breakdown of total cost of materials, total man hours at a set price per man hour tax & a grand total, to see if we were fairly charged for the service. However, none of this was in their "invoice," which was NOT provided until after the job was completed & paid for as the plumber left our home),No description of the work the plumber performed and no values as to how Furuta's estimator came up with the final cost of the job. Our HOA is willing to pay part of the repair cost but we need a actual breakdown, a real invoice.We politely request an actual invoice Furuta insist they only do actual Invoices for Commercial accounts. I called twice they were less than nice and refused. I did state the plumber (journeyman at best) was here for about 2 hours and that the parts at ***** would be at the very most $150.00 Note: if we didnt accept their Quote they would leave and charge us $150.00 also - It appears the way he took apart the overflow drain cover caused damage to the fixture I called their office asking for a detailed invoice with a cost breakdown but was told they don't do cost breakdowns for customers. I have no way to see if I was overcharged for all or parts of the total cost. Now the form is out of space

      Per invoices, the plumbers came 1/17/2023, 2/16/2023 and 3/7/2023. To my knowledge they came two {2) times and at one visit my tenant told us that the plumber just tighten something at the bathtub and left. We asked Furuta Plumbing to informed us before they visit the apartment but it did not happened. During the 3/7/2023 visit we were there ahead of the plumber and we witnessed the whole scenario. One plumber came, I was with him when he turned off the valve at the back. Then we went upstairs and he did something to the water outlet. When he removed the toilet the younger guy, introduced himself as a nephew of the owner arrived and cleaned the area and then they put the new wax at the bottom then put back the toilet. The older plumber was in and out of the unit because they were working on two (2) different units. The other job was not as Leolua Vista because we saw the Furuta truck at the neighboring site close to the gas station. When the job was finished, he asked me to lock the gate. I am very sure they worked there less than two (2) hours because one guy came around 11:00 AM and left 1:00 PM, My tenant goes to work at 1:00 PM. The younger guy could have work there for one hour.Another issue was the 1 material fee costing $230.54. I saw the wax they used and it only cost $7.08 at Lowes Home Improvement. "Please Have Mercy". I wish Furuta Plumber to recalculate the charges, the manhours and the cost of the material used. I am willing to negotiate, but my wife and I will be leaving for the mainland for 14 days.

      We do not have you in our system,Adeodato Villalobos but we did our research of the dates you mentioned and we found this work order from Cadmus :)

      I hope to help clarify some concerns that is stated on our invoice(attached)

      1/17 Work request: leak investigation 309 into 209 work performed: Investigated both units 209 to verify leak, unit 309 checked all bathroom fixtures found water leaking behind tub spout. Removed spout, cleaned and reapplied caulking.Reintalled tub spout and tested. No leaks detected. ( 2 hours , $5.00 parts/misc.)

       2/16 Work request: leak investigation 309 into 209 work performed: Investigated both units 209 to verify leak, Unit 309 checked all bathroom fixtures and verified toilet leaking at base and 3 handle shower stems need to be replaced.  Need to reschedule repair and have a water outage scheduled to shut down 09 stack and complete repairs. (2.5 hours, no material fee.)

      3/7 work request: water shut down to 09 stack, install shower valves, toilet wax seal. work performed: Received approval to make repairs. Water to 09 stack was shut and drained.

      -Removed/installed price ******* hot/cold ceramic stems and diverter stem. Water was restored and repairs tested good with no leaks.

      -Water to toilet was shut/drained. Pulled toilet and reset with new wax. Restored water and flushed
      multiple time to test, good with no leaks detected.

      -Removed old caulking around tub and filled gap with
      silicone. Cleaned up work area, job complete.

      (4 hours , material $230.54 ,wax seal & 3 Shower Stems)
