    It was May 29th 2023, when my fianc traded his Dodge Ram and put $4000 down payment for a 2020 ***** Silverado ****** miles. **** we went for a test drive, the truck stated oil change required, the safety was out and there were rubbish in the bed of the *****. We had let **** and ***** know about it, as we expected this to all be done before purchasing the *****. However since it was a Holiday no place were open in **** to do an oil change, ***** and **** said to get the oil change at Lex Brodies and they would reimburse him. We thought everything was all good, we received great customer service from them. Long story short we took the truck back to our house after purchasing it, we smelt a smell similar to the smell of a car over heating. We checked the temp it was good didnt think nothing of it. The next day May 30th 2023, my fianc went to get the oil change at Lex Brodies and it started to get hot and the temperature went up while in the line to get the oil changed. We let Duke know what was going on the next day on May 31, 2023, when the truck overheated, it was now boiling under the hood on my fiancs way to work. **** apologized and stated they didnt even look at the ***** before selling it , he assumed that because it had ****** miles, it was practically a new truck. At this point. We just wanted to give the ***** back and take back the Dodge Ram and the $4000 downpayment, minus the cancellation fee from the bank which was $350. He also charged $400 plus tax for a detail that they did on the Dodge Ram. However why should we pay for the detailing when we were sold a broken truck? After all the run around they sent a tow truck for the ***** they gave the tow truck driver $3,240 to give to us. We had to travel to them for the Dodge. We lost out big time for their mistake. Requesting $45 for gas to travel, $400 for the detailing, and $157.03 for the oil change and two days of pay for him missing work. We also want to be reassured that this wont happen again.
