      Service provided to me was August 2024, provider did not contact my med insurance but billed to me for payment on Feb 15th 2025 directly. I spoke to my ins carrier DEVOTED and they told me its all handled on Feb 20th 2025 and billing come to me on April 15th 2025 along with two more invoices from clinical labs cf Hawaii of in service days August 17th 2024.All of these should be bill to DEVOTED#DU5A7.Please contact808-961-4708 pan pacific pathologist and ****** DEVOTED

      It is not our intention to erroneously bill patients; however, mistakes do occur.  Please see the details for the accounts below in response to the customers statement of the problem.

      This specimen was sent to us by the customers medical provider to be tested.  There was no contact between the patient and Pan Pacific Pathologists in order for us to collect and confirm insurance information.  The insurance information we received from the patients medical provider was incorrect, which triggered a bill to the patient.  We understand that the patient attempted to contact us;unfortunately, as a result of not being able to connect with him, we were unable to file his claim with his insurer Devoted Health.  The account has since been updated and a claim will be filed to ************************************ of Hawaii Account #************ & 380L124368-0
      Our front end staff erred as they did not make a copy of the patients ************************ card; thus, the insurance information that was previously entered in our system was wrong, leading to claims being filed incorrectly.  Both accounts have since been corrected and claims have been filed to Devoted Health.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is  somewhat satisfy  to me, clinic didnt make copy of insurance cards and put burden to patient is improper.

      I had service in March 2024. I have contacted business numerous times via phone and email. The statement I received does not indicate if it was submitted to insurance. Either NO One picks up the phone or returns a voicemail. The last statement i received stated that they would be sending bill to collection for lack of payment. I WANT to pay the bill - but need answer to question if it was submitted to insurance. the lack of customer service, follow through and professionalism is outstanding. The threat of sending to collections after i have tried NUMEROUS times is baffling. I have asked to speak to Manager or Supervisor but never given a manager's name or allowed to move up the chain.
