      Had a routine brake inspection on Friday. I was told both cables needed to be replaced and they tightened both until the new part could come in. I drove home and smelled rubber burning from my car for a few miles. ****** into a parking lot and as I was turning and pressing on the brakes, nothing happened for a few seconds. The brake was spongy. Obviously this scared me but I didnt even realize what was going on. Brakes were delayed and I had to drive home scared, with my hazards on, not sure if my car would safely come to a full stop. Drove home and had my boyfriend **** up my car. Lex Brodies over tightened the cables and Im assuming no one checked to make sure the rear tires could spin. One was locked and one could hardly move. Called lex Brodies and they said they would send a tow truck. We waited and it didnt come. Called back and they said it would come the next day (Saturday). We waited all morning and then the car got picked up at around 1. We didnt receive a call from lex Brodies that Saturday. No check in, nothing. On Monday morning I called and they said they didnt have time on Saturday. Understandable but I would have appreciated a courtesy call ( it had now been a 2-3 day issue for a simple brake inspection) on Monday the car was ready. Went down there and no one apologized for the error and I felt very uncomfortable and discouraged by the entire experience which could of left me in a serious car accident. finished getting emergency cables fixed a few days later once the part came in. (I put a deposit before everything happened) asked them to check the brake fluid and clear the air. They said it was good. I drove home and same thing brake line felt like it had air in it. I did not trust lex Brodies to finish the job which they horribly did. So I had my boyfriend bleed the brake cable which did have air in it WHICH lex Brodies should have fixed since it was their error.

      The location manager was able to make contact with the customer who made the submission to the ********************. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication on what work we did and what work was done by another party previously. The location manager was able to put the concerns to rest by talking through and explaining the situation. Our apologies this didnt happen in person earlier.
