      The business is committed to provide ***** Wahinepio-Ige *** with curb to curb service from his residence to ******* highschool during extended school Year days with morning pick up and afternoon drop off. This is not the first time that we have not received transportation services as promised in Micahs annual ************************ Plan documents due to a miscommunication between the Department of Education and Ground Transport

      To whom it may concern regarding Micah W.
      Ground Transport is a contractor with the Department of
      Education (DOE).  Before Ground Transport
      can start any services for any students DOE will send us a Route Schedule.
      Regarding Micah W., the first schedule that GTI received
      from DOE was dated May 16, 2025. 
      According to the schedule dated May 16, 2025, Micah’s schedule was to
      start on June 20, 2025, and end on July 18, 2025.

      Ground Transport Standard Operating Procedures requires that
      we confirm by contacting all students scheduled for service, therefore on May
      25, 2025, one of our office staff contacted Micah’s mother to confirm address
      and service dates for transportation and according to our staff the mom
      confirmed with a verbal “Thank you”.


      Micah’s mom called on or about June 06, 2025, to confirm service,
      and our staff did inform her that Micah is scheduled to start on June 20, 2025,
      our staff informed her if any changes she will need to coordinate with the
      School.

      On June 09, 2025, DOE sent a revised schedule to start
      Micah’s service on June 06, 2025, and once we received this confirmation, our
      staff coordinated to start service on June 10, 2025.
      Unfortunately,
      the revised schedule was not received from the DOE until three days after
      Micah’s new start date. As indicated above, we started service the day after we
      received the revised schedule.
