On September 19 at a friends house, I mistakenly locked me keys in the back of my camper. I called Horizon Locksmith to see if they could send someone to unlock my camper. When the tech arrived I asked him if he could pick the lock, but he said the he cannot and needs to call another tech to do that. He said that they need to take down serial numbers to make a new key but he tried to open the camper by putting a bladder between the glass and the camper to create some space so he could insert his tool to try an open the camper from the inside. I then told him that he needs to push this button that is located directly behind the opening latch. He kept trying then inserted is wood to spread to glass from the camper even more. Then the glass broke in a million pieces. I told him that his company needs to pay for a new glass, but he told me to credit what supposed to be charged (he did not charge me anything because he could not open the glass) and credit that with my insurance claim and buy another glass. I told him that why should I pay for the glass that I did not break so his company should pay for it. The tech should have told me that he cannot open the glass due to that the glass might break and give up. I talked the women from his company on the phone and told me the same thing but I repeated what I told the tech. Then she took down my name a phone number and said that the manager will call me. I called the company twice and was told the same thing. It's been 4 days and no call. I called them one last time today with the same reply. I called ************* which brings in the same camper that I have and was told that the company no longer makes that glass for my camper. I called all the auto glass shops and told that they do not make those type of glass (because the glass is curved) so, I am stuck buying another camper. My thoughts are that the Locksmith company should pay for it!!!
